Momma always said, "Life is like a box at Disney Hollywood Studios. You never know what you're gonna get."
...
Of course, you could also randomly create a sperm whale and bowl of petunias in untenible postitions, which would be bad too.
But traveling about in Improbability is better than all that tedius mucking about in hyperspace (and safer for those of us from the aforementioned Plural Sectors). At least until they get the Bistromatic drive operating.
Thank you all for making my night! Only DISers would find two largish brown boxes so interesting and funny!
Smart move from Universal Studios. They've sent Thing 1 and Thing 2 to mess with the Fast Pass system!
Report confirms Tower of Terror and Star Tours will receive NextGen Queue Modifications
We've heard rumors about the NextGen technology coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios and even spotted some intriguing looking boxes in front of Tower of Terror and Star Tours, but today we've got a solid report with dates of what we can expect.
We're hearing that the Tower of Terror will receive NextGen queue modifications from February 21, 2012 through April 2, 2012. Likewise, Star Tours will also receive NextGen queue modifications from February 27,2012 through March 16.
Thus far, we've just see boxes and nothing else. Nonetheless, this is an important first step in bringing the NextGen tech to the attractions.
Thank for the update! Wow... it looks like Disney is going to "NextGen" every single attraction queue in each park before they move forward with Xpass!![]()
"Plusing" as with the Winnie The Pooh attraction? Is Peter Pan getting the same thing?Well, xPASS is part of NextGen that will require some small amount of queue work...but with how obtrusive it appears so far, at least at Star Tours, I'm have a feeling this is either something else (call it "plusing" the queue), or xPASS is just a part of it (if you're working on the queue now, might as well get that out of the way at the same time...)
