Large boxes at Star Tours and TOT queues - queue changes coming? Shades of xPASS?

It is a bit weird that box appeared right before 3/7 change. Do you think it may be cold water barrel to cool down guests who will make scenes.

Now that you mention it...maybe it does have to do with that.

Maybe they are going to start scanning FPs and possibly using a turnstile to let guests in the FP line. That could help with the arguing and complaining some guests will do when trying to use a late FP.

Very possible. Such turnstile with a scanner can then be easily used later for Xpass.

As long as it's someone I don't know, then who cares. Hopefully it will be one of the people that rides a scooter while pushing a stroller into the crowds as they cut through an hour long line b/c the rest of their party is "up there."

Hmm.....mayyyyyyyybe. But if it's meant to be self-serve, I think they'll need a better barcode - the barcodes on them now are pretty thin if you know what I mean, and guests had enough problems with the barcode entry test some time back using the barcodes on their tickets...

If they make a CM do the scanning, I'm not sure what they save by using a turnstile...

For the best info, never ask the CM standing beside it. Exit the park, get on the first available bus, and see what the driver has to say.
