Am I right to assume that you can get lanyards at the Disneyland resort? What do they cost? I want to get a lanyard for myself and for each of my kids.

Thanks!

The kind for holding park hoppers/fast passes, holding water bottles, or pins?

Both are for sale in the park. The ones for fast passes were hard to find 2 weeks ago, but I finally found one at the Pooh Corner store and a couple of places in DCA. The water bottle ones are at most drink carts. The lanyards for pins are at every pin cart.

I got mine at the little gift shop outside of Autopia. Come to think of it, it was hard to find, I had checked at many stores before finding it. I have about 12 pins on the straps and my AP, DrLic, CC and room key in the plastic portion on the bottom. It was $6.00 - the price tag (with mickey ears) is still on it! I think you can see it in my picture below as well :earboy2:

I have heard too many stories of children losing things, I would invest the $$ for my little ones :)

Check near the central cash register in Greetings in DCA--they usually have the kind with skinny cords up there. I like the skinny cord kind, not the wide ribbon kind that can hold pins because those irritate my neck.

You can see some around the necks of the people in lulubelle's picture--they are either cords or ribbons that go around your neck and have a plastic zipper pouch on the end for holding park passes, fastpasses, and maybe money or credit cards if you want. I use mine for my AP and FPs. It makes visiting the park much easier because I don't have to get into my wallet every time I want to park hop, get a FP, use a FP, use my AP discount, etc...

I got one at DCA in December that clips on instead of hanging around the neck. The clip is a cute Mickey head with the Disneyland Resort logo. It was also about $6.

If anyone is looking for a really cool pin trading lanyard, my DS just bought one a couple of days ago that is a limited edition Chip and Dale. The lanyard is kind of a brown/rust color with western markings on it. The medal that attaches to the bottom has Chip and Dale and says "Wild West Adventure". It is really cute and we were only able to find it in the Pin Trading store in New Orleans Square and at one of the pin carts in Frontierland. The back of the medal says it was a limited edition of 500, so I don't know how much longer they will be around. Lanyard was $5.00, medal was $12.50.
