Ladies: Do you/would you wear swim shorts?

I like the swimskirts, but not the grandma kind, I wear these:

DH says I look great .

I don't like the boy shorts, whole lotta camel toe going on there, from what I've seen of other people...

I wear swimshorts all the time. Never thought I would be considered a fuddy duddy. Oh well

I don't wear swim shorts or skirts. I might do the shorts if I did water sports or activities other than just swimming. Not a fan of the skirts b/c despite more updated styles, I still really only see older women (40 +) wearing them.
I usually do a tankini with a bikini bottom.

PS, I know a lot of women prefer the skirts or shorts b/c they don't have to worry about grooming the bikini line as well/often.

I agree- even supposed "trendy" swimskirts look frumpy-they really are for older women.

You must be really young if you think 40+ is an older woman. I've seen women in their 60's rock a bikini like no ones business.

I love them for sport situations where getting wet is likely, or for theme parks where there are a lot of wet rides (IOA comes to mind.)

For actual swimming, I've discovered that they are not for me -- I have issues with the whole ballooning phenomenon. (I really don't know how men can stand to wear loose shorts in the water )

I just bought a pair of swim shorts the other day and I don't think I'll be going back to a bikini bottom anytime soon. If you're into water sports, I think the swim shorts are a great way to go - Go For It!
