I work in a retirement community. One of our residents is from Korea. She just brought my boss some ginger tea because she heard her speak and she was hoarse. She brought it in a china teapot with matching teacups and offered a cup to me as well.

Is there any sort of etiquette for thanking her? I assume that it's best to return the pot and cups after we've washed them, but is it expected that we give something in return?
