Kona Tonga Toast for Lunch?

The last time I went to Kona at 12:00pm, I tried to get the Tonga toast but they said they had already thrown it out. I want to get the Tonga Toast but my DH wants to get sushi. Could I make a reservation for 11:15am so that I can order breakfast and then at 12:00, he can order his sushi? If not, I might just make a 11:15am and a 12:15 reservation.

you can get tonga toast at the QS, captain cook's too!

i think it would be a better idea to get to captain cook's before they switch to lunch then just spend some time walking around Poly (or whatever you prefer), then go to Kona Cafe for lunch so you can get sushi!

The Tonga Toast I was served for a late breakfast at Captain Cook's a few weeks ago was a combination of rock-hard crust and greasy interior. It's probably good fresh but time under a warming light made it inedible. The bacon was a soggy mess as well. Those cast members who threw it out at Kona did you a favor.

Is the sushi counter still there? That might save you from two separate settings at Kona.

You'd need two seatings. They have to turn over the kitchen to start on sushi.

That's why the last breakfast seating is 11:15 and the first lunch seating is 12:00. They want the final breakfast orders in quickly and they'll have a station doing the last call while the other cooks clean and turn over.
