Ooh - I like that one, too. Tho I am more of a purse minimalist, and have a basic black purse I love right now.

Angela - I liked your fabric purses, too!

But, my purse/bag stash:
1 basic black purse
1 little brown Bagallini (bought for WDW)
1 cute fabric tote (the "non-diaper bag diaper bag" that I mainly use when going to restaurants with the kids)
1 basic backpack (used to be used as a diaper bag, which ds is now borrowing for school because his broke)
3 beaded evening clutches (inherited from my Grandma)
1 old beige semi-dressy purse
1 teal tote from the hospital when dd was born, now used as a pool tote
1 library tote bag
1 black belt purse (gift for honeymoon, not normally used)

Wow - more than I thought! But, I think dd has more bags than me!

Doctor says it is peripheral neurpathy. I have to get the kids soon, but I will post moe when I know more about what that is. Basically, what I do know is, my nerves are degenerated or damaged....in BOTH legs, one (way) worse than the other....but not in my hands. :confused3

I now have to get appointments with a neurologist, orthopedist, rheumatologist, and who knows what else. :confused3 They still think the stuff in my hands is arthritis. The big hting is: how does a relatively healthy 31 year old get neuropathy??? THey need to figure ot what is going on, but first I got soe nice drugs for the pain. Get ready for loopy Angela.

Oh...happy things came up for testing....like MS. Fortunately, a year ago I had a COMPLETE bloodwork up,a nd everything came back OK, so i'sprobably not Lupus. BUT they are not ruling out things like cancer (haven't figured out that connection). Happy.

I hope the doctor can figure out what is going on and that something can be done! I'm thinking it might be from wearing those torture devices you call shoes!! :confused3 :rotfl2: J/K

Let us know what you find out! :upsidedow

Ironically, I asked about that exact thing. No connection. :thumbsup2

If only. :) VERY nice. I like Ed's purse and Buzz's wallet, too. :) I need a new wallet. I keep letting my kids get me wallets for my birthday. Got a new Stitch one in the mail today. NOW I'm stylin'! :lmao:

Hmmm if only you could..:scratchin I liked what you picked out for me...:lovestruc

Me too. It's at tar-get. Get one fast though. It is Isaac Mizrahi and they are losing that brand at the end of the year.

OOO, I love Tar`jay! Isaac is being booted out? poor thing. whatever will he do? :lmao:

Actually he left. He took a job with Liz Claiborne as their new Ladies Designer.

I like Liz Caiborne. :thumbsup2

I love that company :sad2:

Maybe my mom will let me switch to Coach!! :thumbsup2

My current bag is a Chloe. I LOOOOOVE it.

If you are going to go to the price point of coach, I recommend Kathy Von Zeeland. Her stuff is trendy, has lots of pockets, and holds up well. I have a metallic blue purse form her my daughter got me for Chstmas. It's LOUD, but nice. I also have a black one I got a few years ago and still use sometimes that is great.

Hi Angela! Just thinking about you. let us know how your Drs Appt went.

Thanks. see above.

Guess what was waiting for me in the mail today!?

Magic Express envelope!!!! (no pics...HHBG took the camera to work to buy a new memory card for the trip)

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

AN I bought travel-sized toiletries today. I caught Jordan's addiction...:rolleyes1

At one point I GOT RID OF 300 pair of shoes.
OMG I don't think in my entire life (what's been and to come) I will have 300 pairs of shoes :faint: :rotfl2:

I finished an outfit for a friend of mine today, so nothing more than sewing for the kids left for 38 days!! Woohoo!
:yay:

We've got a teacher at DD's school whose husband has this. He was a fighter pilot in the first gulf war (1991) and they think it has something to do with being in a pressurized suit when flying. He's been struggling with it for a long time and has been in and out of the hospital. He had some great pain drugs, but then the side effects get to be too much and he has to get off of them. It's a vicious cycle. I hope your doctors figure out a better treatment plan for you, Angela. And an explanation would be nice too, right?

First of all, I hope they figure out what is wrong with you, and that it is something very easily treatable!!! :goodvibes

That's it!? What's a Baggalini?

http://www.packinglight.net/plight/product.asp?dept_id=&pf_id=PAAAIABCIBIJHPEP&

You haven't been DIS'ing enough if you haven't heard of Baggallini! :lmao: Although, apparently the messenger bag is the DIS Baggallini of choice - I had to be different.

But yeah, I'm not a big bag person. Partly because I hate switching stuff back and forth, partly because I'm picky, partly because I try to be frugal and I always have to justify spending money on stuff. Plus, I hate shopping with the kids, I hate shopping online where I can't actually see the stuff in person, and I can't take enough time to go shopping by myself.

My shoe collection is similar - tho I do have more shoes than any other person in the house (possibly combined). I did just buy a new pair of slip-ons for the pool for taking the kids to swimming lessons. I had thrown out my old flip-flops because I hated them, and that forced me to actually go out and buy a new pair, lol.

Shoes: the core ones:
Timberland hiking sandals
Merrel black leather semi-dressy sandals that I can walk in - love 'em!
Black Skechers z-straps
chunky heel black Aerosoles (wearing out, and can't find a good replacement)
black Sporto short winter boots - finally not wearing them every day!

supporting cast:
beige flats
black dressy flats
white dressy flats (from wedding)
silver slingbacks (from being a bridesmaid)
new pool slip-ons
tall winter boots for deep snow (not dressy, and starting to fall apart)
white gym shoes (why yes, I am in the Midwest!)
serious hiking shoes
black pumps (gosh, haven't worn these in years!)
backup black slip-on flats, casual
old pair of black Sporto booties
probably a couple other miscellaneous ones I can't think of

pretty boring and practical...tho I do need a new pair of brown medium heel shoes to wear with my favorite brown & beige stripe trousers.

OK, things are starting to set in,a nd I am "buggin" as Buzz likes to say....

And I remembered what a baggalini was when I went to the link, thanks Irene. Me no likee.

OK. I need some sleep. My drugs won't be ready until tomorrow. it's a pretty aggressive regimen.

Sorry about the news. Yay docs, though.

Ohh, you got your magical express envelope! I love disney mail!

I hope you get things straightened (i know I spelled that wrong) before your trip so you're feeling well!

Meh. I hate when they tell you somehting like "you have peripheral neuropathy", and can't tell you why, then make you make an appointment 6 WEEKS later to try to find out. Hello??? I am freaking out.

That's what I get for reading WebMD. :sad2:

I have 300 nickels in a piggy bank. :snooty:

Uh. Do you even READ my PTR??

You need a baggalini sweet. Messenger bag. In Lime!! That's what I have :goodvibes

Nah. I love my bag. And I don't carry a bag in the park, so I do't need a park bag. :goodvibes

I love ME envelopes too!! And the info was correct! I want to pack now!

I have a follow-up to get the first "what is causing this" tests the Monday before we leave. The big thing right now, the Dr. said, is managing the pain, and it will hopefully help with the other stuff that's been bugging me, too.

GAH! House mess! People coming over tonight! Commence cleaning frenzy!!

Hi Angela :)

I'm working my way through your camping PTR and I've glanced at this one from time to time, but I'll eventually get all the way through.
