I too am of the "I only own a few pairs of shoes" variety. I have more flip flops than real shoes, 2 pairs of almost identical sneakers, 2 dress shoes and 2 pairs of boots. With a bad back they are all flats and most not the most attractive shoe. But i do love shoes I just can't ear 'em!

LOVE the purses you made! I do have a large purse problem! I ahve quite a few and DH gets mad at me when I come home with new ones. I am currently looking for a semi small over the shoulder one, and i'm trying not to buy anymore Disney purses!

I had a purse problem too. Then I started making them, and it turned into a full-out psychosis!! LOL. I literally would stay up before every event and make a bag for it. Finally, HHBG told me to just start a business making them, so I didn't have so many in the house.

Trying to decide...

So, We are leaving in 38 days, and I am starting to think about packing. I have Spencer and Brianna's "gifts from Mickey" hidden, and I am starting to check and be sure we have all of the toiletries we need.

I figured, since it has NOT been warm, that maybe I would get a head start and start putting aside my tee shirts and cargoes for the trip. Then I started thinking. I have three different types of tee shirts I was thinking about bringing, and I need to figure oput which ones I want to bring.

The three types I have are:

Peeps shirts.
Cutesy and vintage Disney shirts
plain tee shirts.

HMMMMM.....

I bought some cargo jeans for during the day, and you all already saw my shoes.

Since every night except for two, we are going to dinner just the two of us, HHBG asked me to bring a few "nicer" outfits along also. I may make myself a few sundresses, as right now I have two skirt/blouse outfits, and a pair of low-heeled sandals for evenings.

HHBG will be in cargoes and collared shirts all week. he needs somehtign to cover his neck. I did buy him one stitch polo shirt he says he will bring, btut otherwise, it's just lightweight button-downs.

FOr the kids, I now have 2 dresses and 2 pair of shorts done. One dress just needs a decision made on an embroidery, and to be finished. These are the requested outfits:

Brianna:
1. Dumbo (done)
2. Cinderella (done)
3. Belle (mostly done)
4. Ariel wedding (or pink)
5. 101 Dalmations or aristocats (she's getting 101 dalm...I have vintage fabric that is adorable)
6. Aurora pink (I am bidding on a dress that is awesome)
7. Minnie (I traded for one that is great)
8. Minnie pink (I have vintage fabric for this)

Spencer:
1. Dumbo (shorts are now done, need to embroider Tee)
2. Mickey (shorts are done....hope no one notices that my kids wearing sheets... )
3. Lion King
4. 101 Dalmations
5. Different Mickey (Mickey II?)
6. The Wild (animals)
7. Mickey III
8. Dumbo II

I also have a great Tigger fabric, a Tinkerbelle fabric, and a few other fabrics that may end up being substituted for....

I finished an outfit for a friend of mine today, so nothing more than sewing for the kids left for 38 days!! Woohoo!

I had an EMG last week to check my legs and hands, adn I got a call today from the Doctor's office saying I needed an appointment to go over my results and how was tomorrow??

Hopefully everything ends up fine...

Thank you! I dislike the design part. I usually just grab a piece of fabric that I like from my stash and let it decide what it wants to be. (Yeah, I know....loony bin)

The Chinese are cheaper, too!

At one point I GOT RID OF 300 pair of shoes. I only have 3 pair of flip flops. I don't like walking in flip flops. I have one beach pair, one "nice" pair my sister got me, and a pair of cheap "shower shoes" for the gym.

I have about 20 pair of boots, between the dress boots, the cowboy boots, and the winter (non-snow) boots.

It's actually a problem that runs in my family. we are ALL compulsive shoppers and collectors. I am getting better, but I still have too many shoes....and sweaters.....and jeans...and WAY too much fabric....

Wowee! My flip flops haven't been worn since last summer I have alot of cowboy boots and 2 pairs of winter boots, too. I have too much of everything. I have more stuff than my parents put together

I have serious carpal tunnel and arthritis symptoms in my hands, though I ave been tested for it every 3 years, and so far nothing.

I also have been having more serious back and leg pain, more like sciatica. Again, also showing symptoms of arthritis. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia when I was 20, but the testing was incomplete, adn my doctor isn't convinced yet. I'm SUPPOSED to make some appointments with a neurologist and an orthopedist, but I haven't. Didn't work LAST TIME.
