Well, I'm 3 away from getting all of the Neverland hours. I'm currently hacking my way through Hollow Bastion.

I guess since I'm the farthest along so far all questions are heading my way. Actually I don't mind. If you guys need a hint or so let me know.

Okay -- for some reason, I can't get Sora to block or roll (using square) or use fire using the triangle button. Any idea why not? I thought I had everything set up right to do so, but nothin's happening.

Ok, here's the deal...
When you learn a new ability you have to press start & go to the "abilities" section. Choose Sora, then select the specific abillty & make to the choice to "equip" it. This is assuming you've already gotten those abilities.

When trying to make a short cut for magic (like fire), make sure you're also pressing L1. You can configure which ever spells (that you've earned) you want when you press start to get to the go to the user menu & select "configure".

If you've done these things, make sure you're fully pressing down on the buttons since they're pressure sensative. If that's not working, you may need to replace your controller.

I thought I did that, but maybe I only looked at the list of possible abilities and didn't actually equip one. I know I did that a couple of times with equipment before I actually got it equipped.

THAT'S what I'm missing! I haven't been pressing L1 at the same time! I'll have to try that again.

OK, I have two questions...

First, I bought a shield and a morning star in the shop in Traverse Town. I want to equip them - but I can't find them! They supposedly went to "stock," but when I look, they're not there! Why would I blow munny on those things if I can't use them?
I'd like to give them to Donald or Goofy...

Also, what magic hut with Merlin??? Is it in Traverse Town?

I understand, I had the same problem. The morning star can only be given to Donald (I think -- Sora might be able to use it, though). Go into Donald's equip screen, select the staff he already has, and it should take you to a menu where you can select either that staff or the morning star.

Try the same thing with the shield with Goofy. If I remember correctly, Goofy is equipped with a shield to begin with. You should be able to switch the shield out. I'm not positive on him, though, because I gave a shield I found to Sora.

Yes, it's somewhere in Traverse Town. You have to have met Donald and Goofy to get inside. There's a secret on how you enter. Look for a door with a mysterious symbol on it. The symbol is a hint for how you open the door. That's all I'll tell you for now -- PM me if you've looked and can't find it.
