I'm putting together an album that has several 2 page layouts to it. A few of these layouts have pictures that have been cut so that part of the picture is on each page. I'm really thinking because of the number of pages going into the album that a 3 ring would be best, but I'm concerned about how it will make the cut pictures appear.

Any thoughts?

TIA,
Brenda

I think it would depend on how big the 3-ring binder is (how many inches?) and how big the pictures are that are divided, whether or not the eye can be fooled into seeing it as one image. A thick silver gray ring holder strip might impede what you're trying to accomplish.

Since you would be using the 3-ring to add more pages, maybe redoing the layout and not dividing the picture would work better for your needs.

can you post a picture of the LO that you are wondering about??
I really love the 3 ring albums so I vote for that (had several of the others break with my son looking in the albums)
but like Flamingglobessigmund said it really depends on how size of the picture - but alot of times your eye will see it together - if you are having to take a new picture - leave a gap bewteen the pages for us to see if it works or not

There will be a big gap in a three ring binder album unless your album is nearly totally full.

They'll sit better in a post bound but adding layouts to the album later is a big pain IMO.

i'd use a post bound. Since you have lots of pages, be sure to use plenty of spacers in the spine (preferably between pages without split photos) in order to keep the book with its covers parallel instead of like this <
