This was the best thing that we did as far as our whole Disney vacation.We absoutly loved it.It is so great.I have a son who is almost 7 and the couple we went with have a daughter that is 13 and they loved it too.You see lots of animals and it is just alot of fun to ride the safari jeep. As far as the rest of the parks we were pretty disappointed.We just returned home on Saturday night the 14th of June and the lines were so long it was unreal.The wait with a fast pass to the ride soarin in Epcot was 6 hours.We didn't ride alot of stuff because of the long lines even with a fast pass.I hope your experience is better than ours was.But AK was the best park for us.

Ride early as once it's hot the animals go to sleep. They also shut KS at dusk so don't count on "later". Fastpass is usually a good idea.

What I love about this ride is the CMs do the talking mostly so each ride is different and you see different animals doing different things each time.

For those with kids who love animals head over to conservation station - a peetting zoo and animal talks there. Also, at AK you can see the animals on the Savannah and at night they have night vision goggles so you can see the animals in the dark. I know but I love doing these. A bus will take you from AK to AKL and from there you can get to any park by using the bus system.
