what kind of shoes do your kids wear in disney? In march it was really cold so the kids wore their sneakers with socks. yep even in dd's princess dresses lol. In september its going to be hot and they arent going to be happy with socks and sneakers. My son hates sneakers now anyway lol.
The kids will be 4 and 2 on the trip and have big feet, the 2 yr old wears an 8 and the 4 yr old wears an 11 or 11.5.
DD got the skechers crocs but they gave her horrible blisters, at home they wear flip flops all summer or are barefoot.
We will have a double stroller so they wont be walking much, well ds wont be but dd does like to walk until she gets tired. She has skirts and dresses to wear for the entire trip ds will wear shorts.

My kids wear tennis shoes. We all do. I want to make sure that they are in comfortable shoes as we do a ton of walking. Our DD rode in the stroller a lot, so she wore her crocs some days. Besides, our boys needed the extra height they got from their tennis shoes to make it onto Expedition Everest and other 44" height requirement rides. Whatever your kids are comfortable wearing, should be what you put them in. My neice wore crocs every day, all day when we were them at WDW and she was fine. My brother wore flip flops and he was fine. Whatever your kids are used to wearing should be fine.

I have them alternate between Ecco sandals and Saucony running shoes. Eccos are on sale all over right now that fall is looming. Love them so supportive and squishy.

We all wore tennis shoes and socks last time we were down to prevent any blisters (even with my feet swelling up and wishing for my flip flops, I just didn't want blisters). Now, my mom on the other hand wore her Crocs sandals the entire time. She must have tougher feet than me.

We wear Nike running shoes and those little no-show socks. Even the girls in their princess dresses. :goodvibes They have some really cute ones for girls. There's usually enough ventilation in them that sweaty feet isn't an issue. With the amount of walking and the heat, I'm just not willing to take the chance that someone will get a blister. It's miserable to have feet that hurt and my kids would be a pain in the butt.

Crocs, after walking all day they do not STINK like their sandals did and tennis shoes. Another reason we decided for crocs is that they are washable and dry almost immediately. Sometimes we'd walk past a place where they were washing out something and nasty water would be running down the sidewalk/walking area or maybe they'd walk through who knows what when we'd go in to a bathroom. I could just throw them in the washer that evening at the hotel and they'd be clean in the morning and ready to go.

Oh and we wear socks with our crocs LOL That way no blisters and if they do step through something wet we can change socks if the wet gets through those holes, or if it rains....easy peasy to dry their shoes and change socks.

They will be wearing their Nike Sneakers at the parks. Sandals for evening DTD and around the resort.

I plan on having my DS4 alternate between his Crocs and his TEVA sandals both of which are waterproof. Important since we are going in August and plan to get wet alot!!

When we were down in June for 2 weeks I brought down a pair of sneakers, sandals and crocs. They picked crocs everyday and had no problems at all. I wore my croc flip flops. I also brought down 2 other pairs but they were not as comfortable as the crocs.

Whatever your kids are most comfortable wearing on any normal day is what I would have them wear.
