Thanks.. with shipping (which is to high IMO) comes to 28.00. It covers a lot of colors and saves me from running out and spending.50-$3.00 each one.

I did buy some used shortalls from ebay and I bought the dvd that shows me how to make the overalls. Now to buy some material and try to get some quiet time away from my 1 and 2yo to try it out.

I looked at the shipping too and thought a bit high! I hate that, just charge what you want! Don't jack up the shipping!

Well, I finally got a chance to sew something for MY kids :lmao:

I wanted at least one really comfy type outfit so I came up with this for the plane trip either there or back.. t-shirt top on the dress and pretty full on the bottom :) should be really comfy

forgive the blurriness.. I forgot my DH had switched the settings on the camera until after the pictures and I was in a hurry

I'll see if I can find one. I only even remembered because my son was watching videos of him last night and that was on there. If I can't find it I'll see how taking a picture of the tv turns out!

He has on a black turtleneck and black pants. Then I made the sword and shield from foam. I can't remember where I got a picture of the dragon from. I know we had the one from the disney store halloween stuff, but it was bigger then my son. I based the sword off of it though.

With the grey shirt, overcoat whatever thing, I just laid one of his shirts on top and cut leaving enough to hem edges and sew together. Boots were felt, the belt might have been too. I don't really remember. I think it is in with his baby things.

A few more I found while looking for Prince Phillip.

I made this shirt way before I had him, it also fit better then! DS shorts match my shirt, hard to see though.

This was made for a build a bear. DS is about 2 weeks old. I also have Mickey one in same fabric as above.

This was from his 1st birthday and the summer before. It is embroided, pluto with fireworks!

Thank you! I love/hate looking at old pictures! He is our only one and he is growing up so fast! I miss his long hair most! We cut it once, then let it grow all back out again, did it a third time but the curl just got wavy and everyone thought he was a girl so short hair it is now!

Love all the cute outfits! I am a major custom boutique fan, and I buy from many wonderful sellers on Ebay. There are so many sets to choose from it is hard picking just a few!

We are going to Disney next week, I just purchased 4 new custom sets for my little girl! I will be sure to post pics when we get back!

Here is peter pan. I didn't notice until we got home that he was missing his feather! I can add that easily though! I cheated on the map, wanted to get them done! I think I'll go back and hand stitch it though.

If no one minds my asking, how much do outfits like these cost to buy?

It seems to me anywhere from $50 to $125 for the most part. I can sell Dallas' used ones for atleast $50, sometimes $75 (have gotten even more). I think that boys sell for and cost less and they sell for less if they are size specific. Most ebayers make them custom after the auction so they have people bidding that want from a size 12 m to say 6. So many more people bidding on one item.

I posted a picture way back somewhere of Elmo and my friend got her's for $25, the lady got a ton of negatives after she purchased and took 3 months to receive them, but she ended up getting them. I think she got overwhelmed with selling so many so cheap. After buying the overalls and fees she couldn't have been making $10 on them!

Hey MickeyFan  !! Your DD's outfits are sooo cute!! Do you do any for your DS?? Sewing for boys is hard! When are you going in April?? We'll keep our eyes open for your LGMH! ::yes::

Im so glad this thread became about the cute munchkin clothes again. I was inspired over the weekend and decided to make matching overalls for the kiddos. Tigger for my son and Piglet for my girl. Ill post pictures when they are all done!

I made one shirt for my DS last year, it had 3 firecrackers that had trails to 3 stars on the shirt (it was for the 4th of july). It was all appliqued, I had fun with it. If you check out my webpage (myspace) you can kinda see his shirt. DH cleaned out my desktop, so I don't have any of my pictures on here. When I get them on here I will post one.
I bought a cute pair of shorts and a shirt on ebay a couple weeks ago for DS for Disney. I don't have in the shorts yet, I am excited for them. Even though I can sew I can't help but want and admire others work :) Such wonderful talent out there!!:goodvibes jen
OH, we are going to be there the 24-29.
