All right, I don't feel like such a bad mommy because I found a couple photos of Zoe from Christmas. I had to scan the first one but it shows her in the Christmas set I made. I'd planned to do a more elaborate applique on the shirt but she nixed that idea when I mentioned it. We compromised with this simpler design. The "pettiskirt" is the one she wore for Halloween. I couldn't resist getting another use from it since the color worked well with the Christmas prints. LOL The tights weren't my first choice but I totally forgot about accessories until too late.

Although Zoe is in a set I made her in this photo, it's not seen at all but I thought this was a cute photo of her with her 2 cousins (my great-nephews) on Christmas day.

Nanas Custom Creations again worked her magic with this darling swashbuckling pirate mouse Maddi is modeling, every character on the parade route touched our lil pirate mate. Thanx for your wearable art.:cheer2:

Very adorable fabrics! I can't wait to see what you make with them!

Don't feel bad, I did that too a time or two when I first started doing applique. I'm very aware now to have the iron on the right setting and don't leave it in place for long when I iron before I'm ready to fuse it to the base fabric/garment. I still find that sometimes it just doesn't want to stick to denim in some areas. I've also noticed that certain fabric I use for the applique is more prone to not sticking than others. I figure as long as it holds long enough to get the stitching is complete, it's done it's job. LOL

So, speaking of applique... here's a little proof that I really was busy when I wasn't posting here for so long. LOL

I really need to get some pics of Zoe to share soon, too.
Those were all great Lisa! I love the red Cindy one best!

I'm not offended! There are people who send their kids off without a care as to what they look like! They are in my family! My SIL and brother don't care if their kids are clean (either their bodies or their clothes), or if their hair is brushed. It drives me crazy!! We try and try and try to get them to take more care with the girls' appearance (and smell), but it does no good.

Our oldest niece has been trying to get her hair clean though. I told her I would take her to BBB in May, but her hair had to be very clean when we went! And it is looking SOOO much better lately!   They are great kids, and they have good parents, however personal hygiene is not high on their list of priorities. :confused3

I gave her a big hug and kiss and told her it was from Aunt Teresa to her Tessa Belle. She got a HUGE smile on her face!
AWWW, that makes me so very very happy! :lovestruc

Hey, thanks for showing up my Belle outfit! :rotfl2: These are my favorites, but all of your work is great! You do need to get some pictures of Zoe on here!
At least it wasn't a diahrreah song!!! :rotfl:

You all have beautiful children and you make wonderful clothes for your girls and boys and you all have inspired me to start sewing again for my little princess. As soon as I am able to I will start posting pics of what I have made.
Add me to the totally confused group here! I though you were t-beri too! I was wondering when Lily started school, and why T was telling us she was sewing again, since we just saw the fabulous outfit she made for Christmas!

Well :welcome: to you!!!!

just thought I'd share nicholas today. he did not get to wear these in disney, so I got some pics in them today!

ADORABLE!!! He is such a little cutie!!!! Those curls, those eyes!!!

Here is an apron that I made for DD. This is for her to wear to Epcot when we go in May.

Hopefully the link will work.

That is adorable!!! I love it! When are you going in May? Maybe we will see you !

AND I just about want to KILL DH! He comes home tonight, a little before 8 and tells me his off! Tomorrow is an extra day off since he worked NYD and everyone else left and then he has the weekend off, we could have hopped in the car and gone to disney IF he had told me! He knows I Have been trying to find a time to do it too!
HUSBANDS! UGGH! I hope you get to do something fun anyways though!

Here's Kirsta at Halloween. I asked her what she was doing, and she looked at me like I was a dummy. She was scrubbing the floor. Duh!! I should have her try it on next time I need the floor cleaned.

:rotfl: That is too funny!

Sorry, but dh has rubbed off on me and I keep snickering about the "pooh". Especially if it's on Zoe!
PPFFTTT!!! That reminds me of Corey's favorite joke when he was about 8. Why did Tigger have his head in the toilet???? He was looking for Pooh!!!!! :rotfl:

Very nice!

I know these aren't custom done... But I found these cute PJ sets at Kohls tonight. I have been watching for cute disney jammies to take on our trip and I loved these!! It's a 3 piece set with shirt, shorts and pants. My boys went nuts when I showed them!

Anyway, just thought I would share!
th_DSC_0411-1.jpg

Aww, those are adorable!!! And, I loved all the pictures of the boys you posted earlier!! They are so cute!

There now NOBODY else can be me!! As if they ever could;)

THANK YOU!!! I really love that picture of you!!

please excuse the triple post DH is on the XBox using the same internet connection as me and is causing problems with the PC.
I think it's the new improved server that is causing a lot of the problems.
OK, for all that wanted to know how the embroidery machine is - well the report from DAY 1 is, I don't love it yet! It's set up. The first stitch was very bad. I finally figured out how I was threading a specific portion incorrectly. I fixed that. The second stitch out didn't stitch in the area that I thought it was going to, so I didn't have the fabric there. UGH! Now something else is going on with it, and I've given up for the evening. I'll try again tomorrow. I'll let you all know how it goes. I knew that it would be a "plug & play" machine. We'll see how long it takes me to round the learning curve!
I hope you get it all figured out!

I have never seen a custom like that before!

Geesh, I don't know what happened to all of my quotes, and it's too late to try to remember them all......

Anyway, I think Aurora has found her a twin! She looks gorgeous and I also love this picture!

The minnie with the gift is my favorite!! But really how can we choose they are ALL Gorgeous!!! You sure have been busy!! How did your arms hold up with all that appliqueing??
I hadn't sewn anything in a month and it was killing me. I had a few outfits in mind, but needed fabric and I haven't been able to go to the store. So, I just decided to make something with the fabric I already had. So, here's a Belle-ish outfit I just whipped up in a matter of minutes (okay, over the course of 1.5 days). I used the YCMT portrait peasant dress pattern and modified it for a shirt. Then, I made my own pattern for the jumper and apron.

Okay, now I need to catch up on the last day and a half.
I love the name of the that first picture :lmao: And the last picture is so cute too- I love when kids cooperate and enjoy you taking their picture!!

Did you use a pattern for those- I want to make some of those for dd for this summer. I bet they we pretty easy to "whip up" too!!

Hopefully the link will work.

That is so pretty!! How old is your dd??

Teresa, I just noticed the Dumbo in your sig. I was going to try to applique that onto a Tshirt for dd2, but decided to go with a much easier pose of him.

He's a little cutie isn't he!!! I can't wait to see the shirt you make for you daughter!

That is SO SWEET!!!

Heather- I tried to click on your how you met henry story but the link didn't work... So I clicked on the more about me link and found it there- the names are flipped it should be henrymetheather. And what a cute story- don't remember if I had read it before, I think I have, it sounded familiar, well anyway it was very sweet story. Oh and when I read my post above it sounded to me like I was saying that I only liked the 2 pictures I mentioned but they are all really cute- the reading one is still my fav though!!

I was kinda worried when I saw I was 6 pages behind when I logged on tonight- Well thank goodness for the double and triples- I was not as behind as I thought :lmao: Good Night all- and Good morning to you early risers :surfweb:

Wow! I just got off work and thought I would catch up on the DisBoutiquers! I don't remember the last time there were this many pages!

I would quote all the awesome stuff I saw tonight, but I am afraid of double posting!

Lisa, your stuff is amazing! I wish Leigh would wear skirts and tops, but she tends to wear her skirts under her belly, and they always look lopsided!:upsidedow She does better in longer dresses with no waist line!

Heather, your Belle dress is cute!

Princess Aurora was adorable!

I just picked up the pillowcase from Wal-mart today. I might try a Belle version to see how it goes, and then do the Cindy one. I would hate to mess up the one that Leigh really wants!

MommaPooh, thanks for sharing the pics of your little girls. Loved seeing one of my creations getting used! Your pictures brightened my day!

Off to try to get some shut eye!
