I am trying to make the peasant top by dainty designs..and would like to add a ruffles to the top, but I can't find where it tells you what length to make the ruffles. I know the instructions says to cut out two strips for the ruffles. She says in her instructions she is constructing a top in a size 2T, and she cuts out two strips for the ruffles - each 4.25 inches in width and 45 inches in length. How about for a size 5/6? Is there a formula to calculate the length of the ruffles?
Thanks!

Sometimes I wonder how I ended up w/ a kid w/ an IQ of 135.
These outfits are my pride and joy these days as I have never appliqued or any of this before! (I made the Epcot and turkey ones - other one is from that auction place) I was so excited that I took my dd to have her pictures in them before they get "messed up"! What do you think? I was really excited about the "pilgrim-y" look of the apron dress turkey since we'll be eating Thanksgiving dinner at the Fort!
