Thank you moefam for the reminder: Ladies - starting the 6th Old Navy is having their 50% extra off their clearance. You can get some phenomenal deals that way. In January they did this, spent $75 and got about 5-600 dollars worth of clothes. Great deal for things to dress up!!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: So go this weekend!!!

Hi All, finally got the outfit done. I wasn't going to add pants, but oh well, I did.
Here are the pictures. My dd was being a tart, she wanted to watch television instead of getting her picture taken. After the pictures, which took all of 5 minutes, she proceeded to try to get her new dress back on, not the one in the picture and she ripped it. She is so rough, she kind of plows her way into clothes. She rarely wears anything I make, because of that reason.

This outfit was inspired :rolleyes1 by another one that I saw on Ebay a while ago. I won't post the origional photo, because all of the recent to-do about that. Hope you all like it.

OOOOH! It just keeps getting better!

Another answer to whoever asked if they dress to match the kids...

I'm kinda planning on it. I was thinking about sewing a Mickey head out of the same fabric DD is wearing, onto a t-shirt. Target has some really nice plain t-shirts that aren't too thin and really comfy. I was only going to do 1 or 2 though. I was thinking the flags/children fabric and the animal prints...and maybe a Christmas fabric for MVMCP...but that's all!! (at least think! ;) )

As usual, Elisa, it's fantastic!! Very adorable. It is really hard to imagine that adorable child being rough! So, what show did she want to watch??

I think Berstein bears...I don't even know how to spell it. This child is so smart, she's only 5, yet she wants to watch baby shows. She can recite all of the presidents, nations, states and capitols, and today she was studying precipitation, and she wants to watch baby shows...I just don't get it...:confused3
Maybe her mind needs a break...:rotfl:

This is exactly the way my oldest DS is. He is so intelligent yet watches babyish/younger shows and sometimes seems to have no common sense. :confused3 And my DS3 is opposite. He doesn't want to learn anything but is so smart in the common sense!! maybe I will get it right with the 3rd...a good combo of both! ! LOL!

HEY, I love the Berenstein Bears, what does that say about me (just kidding, don't answer that!). :lmao:

Anyway, she is adorable, and the outfit is too!

My four year old is only interested in her dollies. She doesn't care about learning anything, although she does sing the 50 state song for fun...LOL, but she does have common sense which my 5 year old is totally lacking...

Love the outfit. And your daughter is so cute. Is it me or does she look older than 5!? :confused3 Maybe all those "smarts" make her look older ;).

ok this thread is getting to long to go through lol...

does anyone have the directions for the patchwork twirl skirt?

I always told dh I wanted a vow renewal at Disney for our 20th...since we married so young. Oh well, plans change... we adopted dd so no money for a big renewal. Maybe at 30 years. We'll be at Disney for our 20th this year and we'll be experiencing our first trip (of many more to come!) with dd. We're taking her to her first princess breakfast on the day of our anniversary.

I guess that is equally good!:woohoo:

Disney definitely knows how to take care of you for vow renewals. DH missed our 10th anniversary because he was deployed for 18 months. So, for our 11th anniversary I "made" him marry me all over again at Disney. It was wonderful!

Castle Creations- very very cute! I always wondered if that was your daughter!! She is a cutie!!

Aww, that's pretty cute though! Smart kids need a little break sometimes! My mother was so kind as to buy us a bunch of Bernstein Bears videos a few years ago! Sometimes that Sister Bear just gets on my nerves!

ETA: I wanted to add that I loved the "Wild Tink" outfit and pictures the other day! She looks like a model, does she do work for anyone else?

Oh no... I just found the perfect dress for Gracie to wear as a costume to the MNSSHP! It looks just like SW's dress, even with the white collar and red headband. I have the perfect pair of sparkly red shoes that she will wear with it since I bought them for her Minnie set! It's too cute and more traditional SW than the custom set she has. She will wear her SW custom one day at Disney... probably the day we do the Magical Beginnings extra hour in Fantasy Land.

The seller that makes the Snow White dress also makes Sleeping Beauty and a Christmas Minnie. Too cute!

PM me if you'd like to know the website. She sells on Ebay but also has her own site for ordering.:cheer2:

Will it ever stop!?!?
