So I love the itinerary! So great that you were able to squeeze so much in there! I like your date night too, Jay and I were just talking about that the other night. I think with everyone around and all the craziness, it might be nice to escape atleast for a quick quiet dinner.

Now - you have me concerned though about O'Hanas. I have a reservation there on our last night for all 10 of us. Aside from the $$$ how would you say the meal was? Is it good? I picked it originally because I thought that it would be fun for the kids but now I'm thinking that it is our last night together and if it's so loud and crazy, we won't even be able to hear ourselves talk. Do you have another suggestion? But not in a park suggestion, a few of the people are only getting 5 day passes so I'm not sure how that would work now.

I can't wait to see what you think about A o A! Take lots and lots of pictures! So far there hasn't been any changes or updates to our trip. I did manage to get our AP's before the price increase and since I'll get 3 trips out of them and Jay will get 2, it worked out great.

On Friday I'll be at 99 days! I can't believe it will be double digits!!!! WOOHOO!!!!:banana:

Happy almost Double Digit Day!! :woohoo: I think a date night for you and Jay is a great idea especially with such a big party, I think you'll need a breather. :goodvibes Coordinating a party that big takes patience and knowing your limits. ;)

I like 'Ohana but it's not a great deal for small appetites. I didn't find it crazy loud or anything. We thinks it's really fun. The food is your typical Brazillian BBQ meat fare with some neat extras. The sticky wings are to die for. And their bread pudding is heavenly. :cloud9: Its got banana, which I typically don't care for, and I practically licked the bowl clean. It's fun for a big group. They do activities with the kids so if the kids are shy they may not participate but it's not a big deal.

I will take a ton of pics of AoA! It really has worked out perfectly for us thus far. Love our resorts, our plans, it's all falling into place.

Joshua and I decided to tag along with DH and the girls this weekend to Vegas. He's taking them to see One Direction. Initially we weren't going to go but with him returning from Africa tomorrow night, I think he'll be too tired to drive so now Joshua and I are joining the fun! We're staying at the Flamingo, which is one of my all time faves. :cool1:

I'm glad they made it to the semi finals but ouch, how's her foot? Poor thing. :goodvibes How did K like Utah? It was a hot weekend for sure.

Haven't actually seen her yet, the tournament went over "our" weekend so it's just been a lot of texting. Will see her next weekend though. Her foot looks awful! Overall, given that the team had a number of changes in players and as such are kind of a "new" team...coach seemed relatively happy. And at least they lost to a significantly higher ranked team. LOL! Interestingly it moved them up in the rankings so that's cool I guess and there was some decent college coach exposure. More of that this weekend so I'll get TONS of info over Fathers Day!

Thurs:
- sleep in, M golf
- meet Cynthia?
- BBQ tri tip before MK, all 11 of us :cheer2:
- MK MNSSHP- yay!! fireworks and parade

Comments, concerns? [/COLOR]

:banana::banana::banana:

DEFINITELY meet! Mary Ellen and I were talking about that, we really need to set the larger meet time, we are still thinking early afternoon ish, Bar at Rose and Crown.

Although I might be persuaded to do a field trip so I can check out your treehouse at some point! Right now my day is wide open until dinner @ 7:20 at Brown Derby.

I need to book my flights!!!!

Come to our THV for a late lunch, around 1:30-2:00 if you want. Michaels making tri tip and we'll have plenty. We'll also have libations. We'll be there until 3 I think and then head over to MK. You're more than welcome. I don't *know* your other friends, so meeting just you is great by me. We'll be at the pool at some point too. :goodvibes If meat and drinks don't persuade you, then you're a lost cause. Especially Michael's meat. You've seen the FB pics.

Yes, you need to book them! How are the prices looking?

I'm glad they moved up but not at the expense of injuries. Sometimes I think coaches get too focused on winning and not on the finesse of the game or team dynamics. Of course, this coming from someone who isn't a big comp sports fan.

That might be right about the time of the meet but if for some reason that conflicts hopefully we can figure something else out! I'm positive we will :goodvibes

Like crap. :rotfl: not worse or better than they've been though, holding steady unfortunately. I'm actually doing (most likely anyway) a combo of miles and cash to try and get it down. Still will end up being around $250 that way. I have been holding off deciding arrival 16 versus 17 but will probably book the 16th today, that's the flight that is more likely to go up in price than the return.

And sometimes the players just play without saying anything...when they shouldn't. Our experience is unless the player says something...coach will have them play at this age. And Kendall...has a tendency not to say boo!

For sure! Our time to eat isnt in stone and who knows, they may want to eat earlier. I'm meeting you fa sho. I'll crash the party! :woohoo:

I can't believe how expensive flying is overall this year. Friends traveling to other places have mentioned how outrageous their flight have been. Book book book and a day earlier is lways better. What day are you returning?

For sure, I agree, we see it here too. I am just not a comp sports person. I'm all about the teamwork, getting better, and dedication but the need to win escapes me. Must be the therapist in me. :rotfl:

:smickey: 128 days until WDW!!! :smickey:

Yep, not an if, it's a WHEN! maybe more than once lol!

:thumbsup2

The 22nd is the current plan. I booked the outbound this morning as that's the one that seems to jump in price first, will be booking the return sometime in the next few weeks but will be tracking it for a bit still.

I'm the same way and to a large degree, so are the E's. Jeff and Kendall though....TOTALLY different story.

:rotfl:

Then again, they have athletic talent the rest of us don't!

It's officially double digits now! 98 days!! I can't believe it! Jay is making fun of me but what he doesn't really realize is that I've been counting down for 330 days!

I'm really excited to here about AoA. I was reading someone's blog about it the other day and it looks really cool. The table/murphy bed is pretty cool too.

Thanks for the O'Hana feedback, I feel better now. I think the kids will love it too, 2 of the kids are little bit more shy than the other, but I think the other will pull them right out of their shells.

WOO HOO! Have a great time in Vegas! I too love the Flamingo! What a fun city! I was in Vegas back in February for work and we were at the Venetian which was awesome too. I had always wanted to stay there. Unfortunately though, Jay wasn't with me and 99% of the time was work anyway.

Have a great time and I'm looking forward to hearing about it!!!

Yes, the girls met One Direction in Vegas this weekend. :woohoo: My Gabby is in the navy blue shirt and Chloe is in the turquoise checks. The middle girl is my DD's BFF. She's the one going to WDW with us too.

I'll be back with trip stuff soon. :goodvibes

It was crazy. DH got them the hook up. :thumbsup2 They are still bouncing off the walls. I'm afraid my FB has been taken over. :rotfl:

I'm sure K and her friend will love the show. They were really good live per the girls.

Monday:
- sleep in
- Epcot, F&W meet Alison and Fran in WS
- break
- MK for EMH so either Be Our Guest or 'Ohana- partay of 11! :woohoo: I'm really considering canceling 'Ohana even if Be Our Guest isn't open. I'm having a difficult time swallowing the price. We will have stuffed ourselves at F&W so I'm thinking a snack/light meal in the villa would be perfect before heading to MK for EMH.

Comments, concerns?

I think most of the schedule looks great, and I'm looking forward to meeting up with you. I think if you haven't already made up your mind (and I've been meaning to say this since Thursday) you should cancel 'Ohana. It's one of my favorites, but I know your family eats a lot like we do and I would only go there if it was my "Meal" for the day. Not meaning that I wouldn't eat that day, I just wouldn't eat a lot.

If we're going to "snack" around WS, what I've found is that we (who like to eat almost anything) hit 2-3 kiosks, we get one of each dish and split it between the two of us. That gives us each a pretty good taste, and after about 8-9 plates, and 4-5 little itty bitty glasses of wine, we're stuffed for a few hours. We can do it again after a ride like the American Adventure or Ellen's ride.

With your family, you might get a little farther splitting plates, but you won't wat a big dinner after snacking around the world. I think that you'll be good to go back to the THV after WS and maybe put something together instead of doing 'Ohana.

We always share, not just at Disney. :thumbsup2 I think you're right about canceling 'Ohana. Might as well do it soon too so someone else can have the ADR. We're meeting another family so I'll try to just change it to their party size. But with the cc guarantee, that might not work. I'm thinking we may want something substantial but I plan on over buying groceries just like at home, so maybe even something like pasta and a nice salad will suffice. Good idea. Chloe insists on Boma and I can't imagine not doing it with 5 nights at the AKV but we could cancel while we're there as we didn't have to out down a cc.

I think we'll follow suit and do the sharing thing too at the kiosks. It's natural for us. Plus then we can try a little of everything and not be stuffed after a few kiosks. What's been your favorite so far; one that stands out as amazing?

My daughter LOVES One Direction! She will freak out when I show her this!

Amanda

:goodvibes I figured they've posted it all over Facebook so I could certainly post it here. It was quite the experience. Life changing per my oldest. :rotfl2:

:goofy: 123 days until WDW!!! :goofy:

SW is having a huge sale for those traveling before November. :goodvibes

Sadly, still not a super great deal out of Seattle @ $464 but also happily since I booked my flights last week. Got outbound on miles+voucher credit from previous flight drops+cash for $96 and then return for $161 on a fluke midnight yapta check that I jumped on, on friday night.

$251 RT. Quite happy about that!

AND

Both are non stop! :cool1:

Love me some non-stop flights! :woohoo: Ours isn't nonstop. Either way. SLC is the suckiest hub ever! :scared:

Gotta love the fluke midnight Yapta checks. :thumbsup2 I still haven't quite figured out Yapta. :confused3 I get a weekly email update but nothing daily like I do with Kayak. I need Yapta for Dummies. :rotfl:

How's the summer going? I have yet to hear the *I'm bored*- knock on wood. But I know it's coming. :rolleyes1

Hi! Sorry about the longtime no stop by. Life is crazy as per normal. Looks like the girls had fun in Las Vegas.:goodvibes

They had the times of their lives, thus far...;) The let down has been no bueno though. Worse than any post Disney depression I've ever experienced.

How are you? How's your summer going? Kids loving it?
