Love me some non-stop flights! :woohoo: Ours isn't nonstop. Either way. SLC is the suckiest hub ever! :scared:

Gotta love the fluke midnight Yapta checks. :thumbsup2 I still haven't quite figured out Yapta. :confused3 I get a weekly email update but nothing daily like I do with Kayak. I need Yapta for Dummies. :rotfl:

How's the summer going? I have yet to hear the *I'm bored*- knock on wood. But I know it's coming. :rolleyes1

LOL! Summer hasn't started here yet...kids aren't out until the 22nd. Which works for me, summer childcare is a bit of a challenge as we both work and the kids are too old and...ugh.

I used to LOVE Kayak but for whatever reason, Yapta has been much better. It's gotten me $39 in credits for flights that dropped (which I used towards my outbound) and then alerted me to the huge drop that I jumped on. It's gone right back up so VERY happy I jumped on it!

It will update you as little or much as you want, you do need to be thoughtful of how the alerts are set up to maximize it.

I think we'll follow suit and do the sharing thing too at the kiosks. It's natural for us. Plus then we can try a little of everything and not be stuffed after a few kiosks. What's been your favorite so far; one that stands out as amazing?

Of all the kiosks, Ireland has my two favorite dishes. The Fisherman's pie is my savory #1 and the molten chocolate cake with Godiva chocolate sauce is my sweet favorite.

They had the times of their lives, thus far...;) The let down has been no bueno though. Worse than any post Disney depression I've ever experienced.

How are you? How's your summer going? Kids loving it?

That let down is rough stuff.

I am good. The kids are enjoying the summer so far.

How are you? I know this is your time of year.

I'll take as many Yapta tips as you care to share. I've got a few flights on Kayak I'm following. You got an amazing deal! :thumbsup2

I hear you on working and summer and kids. It's challenging for sure. The mom guilt takes over when M is working or away for sure. Next summer will be easier when G can drive. I feel bad when they're *stuck* at home. Of course, M thinks I'm ridiculous and overindulgent. :scratchin :rotfl2:

That sounds delicious! I cannot wait, I'm so looking forward to F&W. We're currently trying to agree on MNSSHP costumes. That's fun. :scared:

It is rough stuff. They haven't been through it before but at least they've got each other. I'm the never-been-anywhere-done-anything-Mom so I couldn't possibly understand. ;)

It is my time of year. :lovestruc We're taking the boat out for the first time Friday and then doing a little boat/camping 2 day trip next week. We were supposed to go to Lake Powell but Joshua's new soccer team is pretty demanding so we scratched it. I'm a little bummed but that's what we signed up for.

How about you guys, anything fun planned? Living in CA makes your summer amazing no matter what! Not fair! :p

You know it's a shame that as moms we have never done anything or gone anywhere. Had we lived before we had kids we might understand better.:rotfl:

That's too bad but the soccer is a good thing all the way around. As long as you still get a chance to get out on the lake.

We have nothing big planned. Just little things. Our big stuff will wait until November. I know everyone is excited for that.

Bummer on the Lake Powell, I totally get it but it still bites. I'm in a state of shock. K gets 6 days OFF from practice/training after tonight. Maybe her ankles, toe and top of her foot will actually heal!

November will be amazing! I bet the kids are stoked. Will you get APs again?

6 days off? That's like a vacation!! pixiedust: How will you celebrate? She's still not healing? Poor thing. What is the doc saying?

Yeah, I'm bummed but local will be good too. I've never been to Powell so what's one more year?

Well, Scotty and I have our APs still. They are good until February and I am not sure on renewing them. I just don't know with the prices being so high. They are really excited. They would rather be going over the summer, but it just isn't feasible for us. Scotty's job is always really busy over the summer and vacations are impossible to plan. Plus I want to see all of the holiday stuff.

LOL I just saw the One Direction picture. I was just talking about them on another thread. I went to my nephew's 8th grade grad & they held a reception afterward. When the DJ played 'Beautiful' I was out there singing with all the 13 year olds! I do prefer the Wanted though. LOL

The holiday stuff is amazing! Summer is my least favorite time to go. I had friends just return and said it was a zoo. I can't imagine what the crowds will look like this weekend. :scared: Having said that, I'd love to be there! :rotfl: The pics are amazing.

Work always seems to be in the way of having fun! Ironically.

:figment: 121 days until WDW!!! :figment:

Lol!! :thumbsup2 Needless to say we've got every song those boys have sang as a group and while on the X Factor individually and before. That's what makes you beautiful.....baby you light up my world like nobody else. :lmao: Nonstop in our house.

My nephew just looked at me like I had 3 heads when I was like 'You got it wrong, to prove I'm right I put it in a so-o-ong!' I think he was embarrased. This is not the first time I've done this to him. One time we were waiting in line for a rollercoaster at Six Flags and they have monitors that play music videos. NKOTB came on and me & my sister started screaming like teenagers. He was not happy.

That is my favorite part too!!! :rotfl: :thumbsup2 That Zayn is pretty hot. And he's legal. Just saying. :rolleyes1

I love that this thread has also led to One D! :lmao: My girls will flip.

I'm too old for NKOTB but remember them well. U2 is the band that always did it and still does it for me. Bono is something else. :cloud9: I cry every time we see them live.

Oh don't even get me started on U2. My sister is obsessed. I went to seem them twice on the 360 tour last year. We also saw The Unforgettable Fire, a U2 tribute band, St Patty's Day weekend in NYC. They were amazing!

I am not a fan of summertime at Disneyland. The crowds and the heat don't mix for me. Do you remember how busy it was when WoC opened? We were both there at that time and it was nuts!! I think this weekend is going to top that. I do not envy anyone that is there at all.

The holiday decorations and things make the trip at the time we are going worth it. That and the low crowds.

Scotty's work is a strange place. He started getting a tattoo the other day and he wore shorts to work yesterday. They all started asking him if he was going through a life change. Or if he was going to start riding a motorcycle now. All kinds of stupid things.

They are unreal. I tell my friends that Bono is the longest love of my life. This year makes it 30 years, since I was 13. :cloud9: So ridiculous. We've seen them many times. During the premiere of Rattle and Hum, I sat two seats from Bono and The Edge and was young, dumb, and silent. I still haven't forgiven myself. I stared and cried during the whole thing. I had to buy the movie to actually see it as all I did was them, watch themselves. :rotfl2:

How funny. How old is Scottie? All men get goofy around 39-42 from what I've seen and worked with. I say even if he is grasping a certain age and it's a tattoo and that eases the pain from animal to grown-up then :woohoo: good for him! Of course if he's 50, none of this applies. :lmao:

Low crowds and holiday decorations make it perfect! :thumbsup2 Ayers again right? I bet the kids will love it. Do you get two rooms?

Today CarsLand opens and I wish I was there so badly! :wizard:

I'm not looking forward to travel team stuff and increased demands from the children's activities.

So much to catch up on here!
The end of the school year has been crazy busy and we still have another week left.

How are your plans coming along?

Scotty is 44 years old. This isn't his first tattoo. He hasn't gotten one since the 1980's though. I recently got one.:rolleyes1 I think that my getting one prompted him. This is the third one for me. All gotten in the space of 25 years.

Yes, we are staying at the Ayres again. I actually rented three rooms. We are being joined by friends and we will be three people per room. I am so excited.

I kind of wish I was there but the other smarter part of me says, "no you don't !":rotfl:
