Amanda. How are your plans coming?
I'm mostly thinking about the cruise in June which doesn't seem to require obsessive planning.
Tom and I are eating at the Chef's Table at Flying Fish in August for date night!

I haven't tried their bread pudding. I love bread pudding too. You know who makes the best at WDW? 'Ohana and I hate banana and I still, think its that good.
How was Europe???
You need to try it at Raglan Rd....it's the best i've ever tasted.
Europe was amazing! I am doing a tr...![]()

Michael and I share like you and Fran so that sounds perfect. I'd rather have a bite of everything than a whole anything. And I'm excited to try the regional wines/beers/cocktails. I want to take my time too and not rush through the countries and kiosks.
I wonder how many people nap with Ellen?![]()
Everything was definitely 2-4 bites at least, the portions weren't tiny, but they weren't huge. Splitting them is definitely the way to go. I'm sure you will have a great time!

That's the link to my new report...the pre tr was small enough so I moved it from pre to the trip report board.![]()
Yay for you!! I think a late lunch will be great too. What night are you thinking about MNSSHP? We're going to grill that late afternoon before the party. I'm dying to use that big THV deck and grill. My grocery list is loooong.
Are you still thinking the meet on the 18th? I guess I could check the FB group but haven't seen much activity.
Yep we are still thinking about meet on the 18th, nothing official scheduled but afternoon ish at R&C. There may be a lobby meet of some sort the morning of the 17th as well as some folks leave that day but it's a little up in the air till people book flights. Figured we'd get it up on FB at some point lol! I was looking at Friday for the party but I think we are going to do Sunday as a few other folks want to do it then so it's be a larger group.
Btw...the Raglan Road Bread Pudding recipe is up on my TR, just for Cherie!OMG so amazing it's crazy.
What a great date night? Will you use a kids' club for the kids? I always wanted to try one.
I'd love your cruise details.Jennifer here has been researching DC like mad. I'm sure she'd like it too.
We usually use Kids Nite Out for babysitting. With 3 kids it's actually cheaper than the kids' club. And my youngest hasn't been fully potty trained (we're close!). I find that a sitter has worked well for us!
We are going on the Disney Dream on June 24th for a 5 night cruise. We booked as part of the Disboards Podcast Cruise 3.0. It's expensive!!! Especially as a family of 5. We booked a family room with balcony (category 4A) but I think if I had it to do over I'd book adjoining lower category rooms. It seems like I could have gotten 2 rooms with a small balcony for only a little more $$$.
Amanda
Very cool! And yes, I agree, they are expensive. When I was looking for the 5 of us, it was only a little more to get rooms right across the hall from each other; one inside and one with a balcony. Double the living space and two bathrooms. Mine are older than yours and 2 bathrooms are a must with two teenage girls.where does the Dream cruise to?
That's nice you'll get some alone time. It's so important. It's so easy to get caught up 100% with the kids and their needs and easy to forget about our own.
Speaking of.....DH surprised me with a trip to Vegas next weekend, just he and I!I'm so excited. He booked the flight, hotel, and he even booked dinner reservations. I have taken care of child care though. He said he knew I'd never let go of ALL of the control.

Thanks for the FB links and recommends for food. Michael wanted me to take the post down as I said we'd be out of town. He is a little overly catious when it comes to that. It looked unreal though!
Sunday will be a good night for the party. I bet Friday will be packed! Either though will be a blast! I'm looking so forward to it and so many other things this trip. I'll keep checking in about the meet. I'll drag Jenna with me, you'll love her.
Yeah, Jeff is too, he doesn't like me checking us in anywhere on FB if it's out of town. Which I get although I didn't think you posted WHEN your vegas trip was in the same post...maybe you did though.
The more the merrier!
Your Vegas trip sounds awesome!!!!! Have a wonderful time!
Tom and I really look forward to our one night out on these trips. It's such a lovely thing.
Our cruise goes to Nassau, Castaway Cay x 2 (not 2 days in a row; we go there twice), and one day at sea. We sail out of Port Canaveral. We're flying down the day before and spending one night at the Swan. Then we're staying at Fort Wilderness in a Cabin for 2 nights after the cruise. I'm a little worried about the Cabins but I think it'll be ok. (I have a PTR for my crazy trips coming up.)
Amanda
You must be so happy your ADRs are done!
It's been such a long week and I haven't had much time for the DIS, so going to catch up today.
I hope you're considering DLR for December.![]()
