I think SSR is a beautiful resort. We loved our villa there. I think I would want a car if I were to return because we had some bus issues (then again we had 2 strollers - a single and a double - and Zachary weighed 25lbs and couldn't walk yet!).

I love, love, love Via Napoli. We've eaten there 2 or 3 times and have another ADR for August.

That's great to hear about Via Napoli. I have read only good things and have heard their pizza is insanely good. I'm sure my kids will be craving some pizza by then.

I do not miss the stroller days. I remember them well. We always had a double stroller and it was such a headache on the POR busses. :goodvibes

What does your W.I.S.H. banner mean in your signature?

I just realized we've got an extra day on our hoppers. I thought we'd use a day for MNSSHP but the ticket to the event is our media unless we go in before 4 pm which we won't. Hmmm......guess the kids get to make another choice. We were doing 8 park days and each water park but now we could do a park post water park. The only bummer is both water park nights are resort nights which I was totally looking forward to. I'm looking forward to both our THV/Turf Club night and our Saana/AKV night.

But wait! If I book the 5 pm flight home, we could use that extra day to go to a park before leaving. We never go to the parks on travel day but if we don't leave until 5, we'd have a few hours.

I love the late afternoon flights! We usually get a couple hours in at a park before magical express. It post pones the post disney depression for a few hours.

oh, and I updated....just so you know..

Thanks for the update info. :thumbsup2 I'll go check it out.

I'm all about postponing the depression. :p We might do Aulani in late 2013 which would mean no WDW after this trip fpr at least 2 years.

W.I.S.H. stands for We're Inspired to Stay Healthy. It's the fitness section of the DISboards. I hang out there to get training ideas and talk about the runDisney races. Other people are there for more weight-loss related stuff.

I love a late flight home! We pack up our stuff, do the resort airline check-in (one of my favorite Disney things!), and then have fun until it's time to leave!

That's cool. Have you been running long? I want to do that couch to 5k program. I can run about a mile and then I feel like I want to pass out. :rotfl: DH is a triathlete.

We haven't done a later flight home from WDW before but I'm game. The 5:00 would give us a good 4 hours in the park which would be cool with me- that's if I can get them all moving. How early does ME arrive before your flight?

ME usually comes 3 hours before your flight. After a few trips to Disney, we realized that a late flight home is good for us. I usually try to travel Saturday to Saturday so we have a day to recover. I put the kids in their PJs at the airport and let them sleep on the flight.

I started running about 2 years ago. I'm very, very slow! My 1st race ever was the Disney World 1/2 Marathon in January, 2011. I started with the couch to 5k.

Slow running is better than no running. :thumbsup2 Congrats on your first and the races to come! I don't need to lose any weight but I do need to build some cardio endurance and some strength. You liked the couch to 5k? Our rabbi and his wife are doing it now.

So with a 5:00 flight, ME would arrive at 3:00 meaning we'd have to leave the park by 2:00. So really in order to get much park time, sleeping in is out!

you can sleep when you get home....that's my motto.... of course that never happens because reality seems to smack you in the face as soon as you walk in the door.;)

Tru dat!!!

And speaking of reality smacking.....this whole time I've been talking about return flights.......I booked them over a month ago. :rotfl2: :rotfl: Our flight leaves at 4:20 which makes our ME pick up at 1:20. That means if we want any park time, we'll have to be up early. I'd like to check out at 11, send our bags to bell serves and then either chill at AKV with lunch at Mara or get up a little earlier and go to DTD for some final shopping and lunch at Earls.

Anyway, off to Vegas for the weekend, sans kids, after I work for about 2 hours today. Have a great weekend everyone. :grouphug:

Hope you're having a great time in Las Vegas!

Best. Trip. To. Vegas. Ever. Michael had everything covered from renting padded pool chairs with full service and umbrella to dinner reservations at very delicious places. I'll hopefully be posting the pics I have on FB soon. I got only one phone pic of the dinner at Craft Steak and none from Marrakach (too dark) but let me tell you, both meals were insane. I'll find the links and post them here. Marrakech's website does not do it justice. At all. Best Moroccan food we've ever had. They do a pre fixe 6 course. Wow. The belly dancers were talented. And the best part? The faux Real Housewives of Vegas were across from us. Talk about a train wreck. I wanted a pic so badly but the lighting was very dark, well themed. It was Jersey Shore meets Dance Moms. :rotfl2: :rotfl: There was more bling on butts that didn't deserve to be blinged. And oh their lips. So puffy they looked painful.

I still say Michael's risotto is better than at Craft Steak. Their lobster bisque was goo worthy, truly. We were so full we couldn't even think about dessert. Shared a bottle of chianti with dinner. :cloud9:

The Luxor was much better than I anticipated. The rooms were typical but our view was of the pool and the pool was fabulous. Our server, Eve, was so attentive. :thumbsup2 Gambling sucked there but we did well at the MGM. :woohoo: We met our friends at the Flamingo and drank $28 margaritas- redick! Super fun, romantic, just perfect. :lovestruc

How was your weekend?

Ohhh I can't wait to see your pictures. Love Moroccan food.

I have the opportunity to attend a conference in Las Vegas in November. I may have to go just to try the Moroccan food. :rotfl:

My weekend went by way too quickly! I need a little bit of Disney. I wish I could go tomorrow!

Of course my friend, I didn't get pics of the Moraccan food. We didn't bring the camera because our plan was to get tipsy and we didn't want to deal with a camera. We ended up stuffing ourselves silly with food, not booze. :rotfl: It was very dark and flash photography would have been no bueno for more than a pic or two. However the Real Housewives of Las Vegas didn't seem to understand that.
