Kidani vs. Jambo - different "home" resort?

Forgive me if this question has been asked before, or if it is a dumb one. I did a search on the boards and couldn't get results (probably too generic terms).

I know that Kidani Village is not open yet and that is why Disney is still offering developer points for people who purchase AKV right now because you can't book Kidani until May 09. But isn't Jambo open? Can people stay at Jambo? Can someone who buys AKV-Kidani now (through disney), stay at Jambo?

I guess my basic question is, are Jambo and Kidani actually considered two different "home resorts" within AKV?

Jambo and Kidani are both part of the same DVC resort - so points owned may be used at either location. The issue here is that, because Kidani has not yet opened, those points cannot be used ANYPLACE until the unit purchased is open for occupancy (thus the reason for the Developer Points). After May 1, 2009 Kidani points may be used at Jambo or at any other DVC resort - but they cannot be used for anything until that date.
