Just Received Post Card with Code

In the mail today there was a post card with a code for Value for $59.00/night. I have never received a code before and what's strange is that it had my maiden name on it. Stranger because I have never been to Disney or done anything Disney affiliated until I was married so where they found that out, I have no clue. Of course I get my first code after just joining DVC in February!

I got one today too. Also in my maiden name(Have been married almost 6 yrs) and we have been back twice since we got married. Also spent our honeymoon there. We are already going during free dining which is a much bigger savings for us. I swear I only get these cards when we already have a trip planned or have just gotten back. Cant wait to get there.

that is weird, I hope I get one in my maiden name, I did go with my parents in 1983!

I got mine today too! So excited to finally be one of the "Pin" club members!

Came to me as my married name. We just visited WDW in January.

Dates are 7/29 - 8/2, 8/5 - 8/9, 8/12 - 8/29, 9/2 - 9/29.

We might be moving to Georgia in September so I am keeping the card. Figure we could hit WDW as we drive down after moving out as a celebration and then get down to the hard work of moving in!

Strange that the postcard was in your maiden name. The only thing I can think is that your last name was in there system for so long with no activity. Since there was no activity Disney must send these postcards to stimulate activiity by you and other guests who have not visited over the years. Disney is probably always looking for new guests to come and visit. New and additional revenue is a good thing.

Maybe if I stop going for about 5 years and Disney doesn't hear from me then I might get a postcard/code.

Rates are out for the UK. Just went to google and typed in UK Disney Rates and found them. Not sure what they mean, but value start at 52 for the UK and moderate 74. Before the 52 is a UK dollar sign. Not like $. Can someone please explain to me what this may mean. I don't understand why they also have a offer for kids free for the UK and some other good deals. I wonder why we can't have very good deals. are maybe we do have good deals. Go to the website and try to read it. If you understand it please let me know. I can't wait until our 2008 rates come out. We are going the end of Jan.

Just posting this in reference to your maiden name. The last time I called CRO they were going over all of my info that was in the system. They said, "Well I see here that your last visit was in 1971." I told them no that we were there in 2005 and that I wasn't even BORN in 1971.

We just booked a grand gathering for the poly in Dec and they keep telling me everytime I call that my last trip was in 2005 when I was there in Jan 2007 at POFQ. They also keep telling me the wrong email address yet somehow I got my grand gathering info at the correct email address I hope for a pin code but I wonder how they find anyone?

Woo Hoo!!! I just got my FIRST postcard too!!!!!!!!

However, I am already booked for the free dining. It seems like a great deal because for the first time in a long time they are offering summer dates, July, August, & September.

Here's hoping that thise going in July/August get the PIN code!!!

I got one too - in my mother's name! LOL I booked two rooms on our last trip and she was the name on the second room, so that's probably why. The dates are for Aug and Sept, and since we've been tossing around the idea of an Aug trip for DD's birthday and the P&P Party, this might just be the tipping point that convinces us to go.
