Just Received Post Card with Code

I have no idea what my code was for, but I got Wilderness Lodge, standard view, for about $146 per night. I didn't even try to book a package, since we have tickets left over from last year.

They STILL won't let me do it. She said she spoke with Guest Services and they said no. I told her to ask her supervisor, she put me on hold and came back and said no I cann't use the discount with a package. I have called 6 times now. I have the same postcard as everyone else with Donald on the front. Why can't I use it?????

I GOT IT I GOT IT I GOT IT I had to get a little mean and nasty but I got it. I felt bad and apologized but we are staying 10 nights and we got a $650 discount. That's a lot of money. So here it goes:

Hey, they took away my vacation insurance. I was just looking online and it says not selected. And when I look online it doesn't day dining. MAN, what do I have to do to get this thing right???

OK, the dining was there I just couldn't see it on the website but they did forget to add the insurance so I had to do that. For everyone that has changed their package to add the code please double check that they added the insurance back if you had it in the first place. Now I can relax.

Was just reading about getting a post card (which I did get!) and was going to say how we saved money. But then I read about the insurance not being added back in. Thanks for mentioning this. I sent an email off to my TA to double check. I would hate to think I have it and then need it and find out it's not there! I know this sounds like rambling - but I think what I am saying is these boards are great! Someone is always thinking of something you didn't. THANKS Have a great day!!!

Something is wacky in that computer system!! I called and the only record found with our last name was my mother-in-law who had never been to WDW and who has been deceased for 6 years!! We have been 34 times but are not in the system! Go figure

They do have wacky records! They had my name linked with an address in the same town that I live in but I have never lived at that address. I cannot understand how every single time I would call and give my phone number, they would pull up this address. I would tell them each time and they would go through the whole process to change it, yet I would call again and it was the old one. Finally after staying at the Poly in February, I was able to get it changed.

OK just checked my mail and had the brochure with the pin in it (same one with the "ducks in a row") So I called to see what was available on this code as we already have a week booked. The code says it's valid until 9/29 and the CM I spoke with told me that then the room would go to rack rate for 9/30-10/6. She also said no mods or deluxes were available and this was a value only code?

Did I just get a bad CM who doesn't know or is this how this code is working out?

You got a bad CM. We are staying 9/28 to 10/8 and got the rate for the whole trip and we also got it for POFQ. There may not be anything but a value available but still check. I got 4 bad CM before I got the last one and she didn't want to help either. I had to get a little nasty and demand to speak to a manager. She went to one who said no so I said try another. If finally worked. be patient and persistent and you'll get it.

we just got a postcard. im not sure if we can go, now we wanted to maybe go around halloween, my dh birthday, but with 59.00 i thought maybe we could go the 3rd or last week of special. now i believe the free dining is over, sowill it still be packed, or not to bad. i have to check out airfare from boston. our problem is my dd and baby grandson just moved down to alabama, my son in law is in the army.......sorry long story........they really wanted us to comedown like maybe before the summer is over.............so we are not sure what we will do............i know , family first..but they also may get a chance to come home in between. sorry for babbling...........but im wondering if maybe me and dh could fit in a week in sept/for that price and hoping the crowds arnt bad??? thanks

My husband recieved a post card the other day, at his old address. I have been really busy, so I haven't called but I did the morning. We are only using it for one night, before we head over to SSR. I really wanted to stay a Pop, but I was able to get CSR and I am now very excited about this.

I am not even going to tell the family where we got into.I want to suprise them. On second thought I will tell my little 1 but she won't tell, she is such a great keeper of secrets.
