Just how many cliques threads do we need?

Its really getting out of hand here. Isn't it? Pretty bad when regular threads get taken over by cliques too. And some cliques have multiple threads. There should be a clique forum.

I'm sure they'll take this thread over before long too. Like flies to roadkill. lol

What cracks me up is the "NOT IN A CLIQUE LIKE ME" thread that's been going on FOREVER!!!

I get that. I belong to several smaller groups that have branched off of the DIS. We have our own boards elsewhere so we don't clog up this board with our chit chat, but we still post here with the large group.

I just find it annoying that the cliques have multiple threads instead of just their 1. Or when you read a thread title & find out 6 posts in it just turns into another thread for the same clique people.

I agree it does get to be a bit much, but that's just the Dis for you.

I don't mind clique threads as long as you know thats what they are. I hate to answer a thread only to find out 5 or 6 posts later that I posted on a clique off-shoot thread.

And doesn't the DIS have a rule about posts needing to stay on-topic? Or take it to PM? So should those threads that quickly get turned into cliques end up closed down?

I don't mind the cliques. I just skip over the threads. No biggie. Let them have their fun! And heck, join in if you want. Looks like a good time!

I agree that they should be in their own section of the CB, like the game threads They all seem to start off innocuously enough, so they do belong on the CB at first.

At what point does it become a clique thread and get moved? I'd hate to be the moderator in charge of that one!

I think it's great that people have made friends here though. I also predict that this thread will get nasty.
