Just got back from The Wiggles LIVE!

What a GREAT show!!!!!!!! My three year old son and I danced and sang our hearts out tonight! We had aisle seats so we ended up slowly making our way down to the front row, where I stood right in front of Anthony and took about 20 close up pictures of him!!! He just kept smiling at me and probably thinking to himself... this chic is obsessed! LOL During the finale he came to the edge of the stage and shook my hand, so I can die happy now. They said it was only his second day back on the tour, because of his teeth problems, so we were very lucky to see him perform. I love how his hair is long and curly now... he is just so darn cute! The other guys were great too. Greg has an amazing voice... and Captain Feathersword was the star of the show.

I'm just smiling ear to ear right now.... I am ready to go to another show! Maybe I could become a Wiggles groupy??? LOL

If you have a chance to see the Wiggles live I highly recommend it! It's fun for the whole family!!!!!!! But remember, Anthony is MINE!!!!!!!!!

The Wiggles are supposed to be up here on the East Coast in the Fall. With my luck they will probably be here the week we are in Disney..

DD (3 & 1/2) and I LOVE the Wiggles!! We both get up and dance during their videos. We'll have to leave 7 yo DS and DH at home if we go.

Please post the pics of Anthony when you get them!!

We are planning to take dd to the Raleigh concert in November - traveling all the way to NC from TX to see the Wiggles - yikes we are crazy!!!!!!!

Glad to hear you had a great time - we are looking forward to seeing them perform live and I just know my dd is going to LOVE it.

So, have you visited the message boards at the Wiggles official site? Now, there are some really really really obssessed Wiggles fans on those boards. The Wiggles are not lacking for fans these days - that's for sure

We just saw The Wiggles today in Columbus, Ohio. The show was great and my two little ones had smiles from ear to ear! Was your Wags the Dog different than TV? My daughter (and alot of other kids there) looked confused for a moment. Another thing I noticed was that Greg seems to be the leader on tv but he hardly talked at all. The other three were more active and Anthony talked the most. They had another show 2 hours later so maybe the guys take turns being the "spokesman". My daughter said she wished it was longer (only about 1 hour).

Wags was the same here in Chicago, Sun. You're right about the 'spokesman' job, though. It does seem to change. I think Anthony played a bigger role as well. But, how could Wags be different? Must've been the same costume, I imagine, that we saw.

And yes, 60 mins. or just less, was a little short for the toddlers, if I do say so myself! They wanted to keep on WIGGLING!

Great first time experience though!

About the concessions
We didn't get anything because the show was close to home and I made sure I fed the kids well before we left. It didn't look like much was for sale though, I only noticed drinks like bottled water and pop.
The souvenirs weren't that great IMO. I told my 4 year old before we went that she could get 1 thing (We always tell her what to expect and we have no crying). The crowd was huge before the show so we thought we would go at the end. We waited about 30 minutes after the show and the crowd was still huge so we didn't get anything and that was OK with my daughter. She is pretty good about things like that most of the time.
I saw that they had stuffed Dorothys, Wags, and feather swords. The sword was $15. Backpacks, lunch boxes, beanie type Dorothy and Wags, pirate hats, t-shirts and a stuffed Big Red Car. There was more but I can't remember it all. I wanted to get a program because my girls love looking at the ice show ones over and over but I didn't see that the Wiggles had one.

My son wanted a feathersword but they were sold out. We got the big red car, dorothy beanie, wiggles puzzle, and 2 t-shirts. I thought everything was really cute... I would have loved an adult t-shirt but they only had kids sizes.

You are right about Wags... they changed the costume a couple of years ago. So the Wags you see on the old reruns (darker brown with long ears) is different from the Wags on the newer videos and in the concert (short ears with lighter brown fur). My son didn't have a problem recognizing him but he did have trouble with Anthony's new look. His hair is long and curly, like it is on the Playhouse Disney ad... my son said "that doesn't look like Anthony" because he's use to the short hair cut he has on the TV show and in the videos. I kept telling him it was him... but I don't think he believed me! LOL Personally I thought he looked HOT!

The show was short (60 minutes), but I guess most little ones can't last much longer than that. I think my son could have wiggled all night!

Ooooh, I finally found where the Wiggles fans hang out! Hoop De Doo, everybody!

I hate to tell you, but I'm in love with Anthony too. LOL Isn't he the cutest thing?

I have to ask you guys about a couple of episodes of the TV show that aired last week, I think it was. They were totally different, and much CHEAPER looking. The intro was different, Wags looked different, Henry was a puppet and not a real person in a costume, even Door was different. The show was comprised of different "segments," each featuring a different character. The sets were cheap looking, and awful! It was SO TOTALLY LAME, and I HATED IT. I was SO mad for those couple of days, thinking they had SO CHEAPENED the Wiggles great show.......and then the old show that I love was back!

Does anyone know anything about those episodes I described? Anyone see them and notice the difference?

The Wiggles have had a TV show in Australia for a long time. Playhouse Disney has been airing old episodes and newer ones too. It's pretty easy to tell which are the older ones. Actually, I kinda like the old episodes... it's neat to see how far they have come.

I dropped my film off a couple of days ago, so I'll have them soon! Just be prepared for 99% of them to be of Anthony!!! I have a major crush on him... I'm so depressed that the concert is over. I wish they'd come back soon.
