Just got ap rate for POFQ

My mom just made our reservations and she just called to tell me she got the ap discount for our entire stay, oct20-nov17 at pofq

So im happy about that, even if the discount isnt that much its sooo much better than no discount

That is great news. We had to change our ressies from POFQ to CSR to get the discount for our stay october 26 - 28th. We got tired of calling everyday to see if anything changed and figured it wouldn't. POFQ is the only moderate we haven't tried and my DH really wanted to stay there. I'm going to try calling tomorrow to see if we can get as lucky as your family. Have a great trip!

I called first thing this morning and the CM I spoke with said POFQ has been booked solid during october and november for over a month now. He also said they aren't offering any Annual Pass discounts there. Your Mom was extremely lucky to get what she got. Have a fabulous vacation!

I don't understand this. I even called again this morning just in case the CM I spoke with previously may have been mistaken. Again I was told that POFQ has been booked solid for several weeks. "Absolutely nothing available". Everytime we have booked this resort something has happened to prevent us from actually staying there. I'm beginning to think we are cursed or something. At least as far as POFQ is concerned anyway.

I'd give it another try, I checked every day on line and rooms were available,
I was very suprised though to get the ap discount this late though ,

but he is wrong about there not being any rooms and the ap discount,

Do you think maybe there is a different set of rooms online than when you actually call? I'm going to call again first thing in the morning and ask why others are having better luck when I am being told no availability. Wish me luck and thanks for the heads up.

Im not sure,
a couple years ago we tried to get the ap discount at all star sports, told the first time, no discounts called back 1 minute later and got the discount.

I am sure there are rooms available during that time but perhaps not for the entire time, If one night is not available then none of it is available. Also they only book so many rooms at the AP rate and those may all be taken. now of course one may open at any given moment and be gone just as quickly. But rooms are still available online or were yesterday for the Season Special for instance at POFQ. So there is some availability for some dates for some rooms.

Just got off of the phone with CRO. This time I was told there is availability but none with the AP rates. She did say to call first thing at 7 am because they do release discounts but they go quickly. I will be calling again in the morning.

My understanding is that there are a select number of rooms for each catagory (discounted room, dvc, cash rooms.....) once they fill for a particular catagory then you can see what other catagory of rooms are available. Hope this helps.

The rate I was given is more than our current rate at CSR so I guess we shall keep our ressies there. I know we will love it at CSR because we had a wonderful stay there before. I have the AP rate for POFQ for December. I'd originally booked it and then changed it and then tried to change it back 10 minutes later and they said it was gone. I called 4 times in quick succession talking to different CMs and one finally tried hard enough and "found" my rate. I knew there were two different AP rate codes and the other CMs seemed bothered at my attempts to get them to really look for the rate. Finally, I got the helpful guy who listened to me and booked it no problem. So, just keep calling...

My DH refuses to give up and calls every morning but so far we still are being told either no AP rates or no rooms at all for our dates. I'm happy for you though. Have a great time at POFQ. Maybe someday we'll get there too. LoL
