Just Back BWV Comments Complaints Room report

Just got home from vacation
Brought my brother inlaw & sister inlaw & 2 nieces with us and they were quite impressed. Think they might become DVC members too.
Stayed at BWV standard view 4/4 - 4/9
We were in room 1109 1111 great location quiet, easy walk to bus stop, short walk to quiet pool.
Room was clean at check in, dryer had an awfull squeak and kitchen sink dripped, both promptly fixed after 1 call to maintence.
Resort looks great without scaffolding or netting around although it seems like there are less lights on the facade facing the boardwalk.
The parks were crowded as they always are at Easter, but we go expecting that; Magic kingdom maxed out 2 of the days, Animal Kingdom 1 day & blizzard beach 1 day. Glad to see people are back to vacationing.
Weather was great not too hot, not too cold & only 1 day that it rained (afternoon thunder shower)

BUS'S WERE TERRIBLE!!!
Took us 50 minutes to get back from magic kingdom one night; we caught the first bus IT MADE STOPS AT THE SWAN THE DOLPHIN THE YACHT CLUB THE BEACH CLUB & FINALLY THE BOARDWALK & BOARDWALK VILLAS that's SIX RESORTS BEING HANDLED BY ONE BUS ROUTE !!!! THAT DOESN'T WORK AT PEAK SEASON
It was the same for the Animal Kingdon route but they added Blizzard Beach!!! Now the morning we went to Animal Kingdom we stopped at all the resorts and instead of the bus driver asking if anyone was going to blizzard beach we drove there only to find out no one was getting off there, WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!! 45 MINUTES TO GET FROM BW TO AK
all in all had a good stay except for the 2 days we used the bus's

That is why we always try to drive to the parks when staying onsite. Everyone raves about the busses. Maybe it's our bad luck, but we always had too many stops, and too few busses. We do use the boat or walkway to EPCOT and Disney-MGM.

Just a suggestion. Whenever DW and I stay at BWV we always get off at the swan and walk over to the boardwalk, it is always a great way to end the day or night. Very peacful and quite.

We just get on and off from Swan and walk back to BWV. DH does not take the boat to Epcot or MGM, he chooses to walk.

I really hope that Disney can improve on the bus services for the Epcot resort area. With 2 young kids, 2 strollers, and my mother, and all the gears to get on a crowded bus with no seats (BWV being the last stop) to MK or AK, we decided to drive to the parks after that ride, and has not regretted.

However, during Xmas/NY time, we got on the Swan once to go to DD and the bus did not stop at all the resort. I cannot figure out when they make all the stops or not. It supposed to be some type of efficient system, but it just does not seem to work very well. For people who choose to stay deluxe, I think the bus service is sub-par.

We stayed at All Star once, and I thought the bus service was far better than these.
