What was the status of the BWV rehab? Did it negatively impact your stay in any way?

I don't have any specific questions now, but I wanted to say that I can't wait to read your long trip report! I am going "home" to the BWV for the first time this August and just love reading about others' trips. Trip reports are my favorite postings to read; I guess I try and live vicariously through others' trips in anticipation of my own trip "home."

Carol,,,,they are still renovating and no, it didnt in any way affect my stay....could be that more rooms will open up when they are done as I doubt anyone is staying in that section with the scaffolding and plastic "drape". I stayed in room 2109, standard view and was able to watch the buses come and go. lol, then we switch to preferred room # 4051,,,,,AWESOME view overlooking the boardwalk, watched boats come and go, watch the juggler on the BW and just plain enjoyed the great view! Now getting stuck in the elevator was another story,,,,watch for my report! mae

We were probably neighbors!! We just got back on Saturday from 6 glorious nights at "home" we were in room 2101. Loved those fireworks in the std view! Maybe you saw my four yr old daughter? She was the one in the nightgown running to and from her Mimi and Papa who were staying across the hall in 2102. The renovations didn't bother us at all. The shops were all still open

Awww Brittsmum, wish I knew that LOL,,,Didnt happen to see her, but Im glad you had a good time....We didnt see Fireworks as we left BWV on Thursday to go to Hard Rock,,,,,wow what a place....and I will do a separate report on that, it was truly awesome! Mae
