Can't decide still!!!

June has longer hours and you know you can go swimming, but it is more crowded and hotter.

November of 05, yes it is cooler, has shorter hours, but I think it could be just as crowded here is why:

1. It will be Jersey week
2. All states have there elections that week so kids maybe out of school a couple of days (I know mine are)
3. Veteran's Day is that Friday.

I am not sure if anything elese is that week or not? (5 - 12)

What is your opinion?

Thanks!

I would go with Nov. We have been several times at this time and have found the crowds to be moderate. The weather is beautiful,we have always been able to go swimming every day.I would think the crowds in June would be about the same, but weather hotter and more humid.Plus, food and wine fest. at Epcot! :Pinkbounc :bounce: Oh,usually Soap opera weekend at M.G.M. is usually first or second weekend in Nov.

November!!

We've been to Disney twice in the last 3 years, once in June and the other time in November. The November trip was the greatest family vacation we've ever had. The crowds were very low and the weather was beautiful. Sunny but not too hot, we were able to swim and even spent a day at Typhoon Lagoon. We were there during Veteran's Day week, which was after "Jersey week" so I can't comment on how that would affect things.

When we went in June it was humid but it rained almost nonstop the entire week we were there. So even though the parks were open later we couldn't enjoy them. Our hotel pool was constantly closing due to the lightening. We still had a good time, it is Disney after all, but it was nowhere near as enjoyable as our November trip.

We've been to WDW the first week of November, Jersey Week, in both 2000 and 2003 and had no problems.

Both years we were nervous before leaving after reading on the DIS about how Jersey Week would impact crowds, but we encountered very few long lines.

I haven't been to WDW in the summer since I was a kid, so I can't compare June to November, but my advice would be, don't let Jersey Week scare you away.

Go in November. Jersey Week doesn't compare to the crowds you will have to deal with in June and the weather is perfect...highs in the 80's, low humidity, sunny every day! :D

Definitely November, but I have a question: Your kids get out of school for elections? In our city they use some of the public schools for voting, but the kids don't get out for the day.

I was wondering the same thing. Our schools are only closed for Presidential Elections.

I guess what they have done is one is for election day the other is an in service teacher day and then Friday is Veteran's Day, so they will have 3 days out that week and I am OK with them only missing 2 days.
