We can't make ours for another 15 days (75 days out).

Why can't you make reservations yet? This is our first time cruising, we are in a cat 9, and when we paid off our cruise on Saturday we were told to make excursion reservations as well as Palo, Spa, kids club, etc. So I did online right when I got off the phone. I originally was told i had to wait until March 20 as well.

Try it! or maybe I'm missing something? :confused3

Simba, we are doing the Atlantis. My oldest daughter wants to parasail in CC so I let my youngest pick what we did in GC. She has always wanted to do the submarine. I did go ahead and schedule the stingrays at CC too, but I'm thinking that it is going to be too much and we might cancel that. From the way it sounds I don't think we will be going to Cozumel. I wish we could find out. I don't care where we go I just wish they would tell us so we could make plans.

Hi Gang,
There's a new feature in the "My Disney Cruise" section of Disneycruise.com. It's called "My Online Checkin". I entered quite a lot of info into it yesterday-- passport info, billing info, castaway club, etc. I'm hoping it saves us some time at embarkation. There are some glitches (you know how it goes with database changes) but eventually I got everything entered.
Also made shore excursion ressies: Seven Mile Beach Break-Grand Cayman, Xcaret Eco Park-Cozumel, Banana Boat Ride and Personal Watercraft Eco Tour-Castaway.
Nothing Disney offered for Key West appealed to me so I struck out on my own and came up with a half-day trip to Dry Tortuga (fort in the middle of the ocean). We take a sea plane from Key West airport to get there.
Can't wait!
Jocelyn

P.S. DS16 is shy too. I hope he can meet yours. :)

I just tried again and this is the message I got..

Palo Reservations

You may not make reservations at Palo at this time. Please return 75 days prior to embarkation. If you are a Castaway Club member, you may return 90 days prior to embarkation. If you are a Concierge Guest, you may return 105 days prior to embarkation.

:dunno: am i doing something wrong?

Hi,
I'll be on this cruise along with my wife, son(8), and Mother. My wife and I are doing Key West on our own since I've been there before(bars, conch tour train). In Grand Cayman, my Mother and Son are doing a Stingray City - Hell tour (Mothers been here before) and my wife and I heard about the Margarittaville that is opening in May with swim up bar and pool setting and thought we would try this. Mexico doesn't thrill me one way or the other as I've been to Cozumel and am hoping they go to Costa Maya for possibly a better ruins tour. I'm more excited to go on the cruise for the ship and amenities. When I was single and younger, I went on two Windjammer cruises and loved their informality. This will be my first 'Big Ship cruise.
Sorry for the rambings, hope to meet some of you.

Welcome Aboard HairyLeg,

I love the name. That pirate is one of my favorite parts of POTC. That was interesting information about Margaritaville in GC, I had not heard that. I would love to swim up to the bar a put down a few.

Look forward to talking with you while we all wait for June 3. :thumbsup2

We did stingray city at GC 2 yrs ago and it was wonderful. Lots of interaction with the stingrays.. and a lot of teenage screaming as the stringrays came close to them at first

Where is the ship going now since it can't go to Cozumel? Does anyone know? :confused3

Wow, so we really are not going to Cozumel? I wonder why they have not posted this so we could book excursions?''

:confused3

Hi HarryLeg :wave2: We have a DS too. He is 7, but will only be 1 month shy of his 8th birthday when we cruise. Maybe he will see your DS on the boat at the lab/club sometime. He loves to make new friends.

We are going to bring our own snorkel equipment and I have been looking locally, but am wondereing if we could get a better deal in FL after we get down there. Anybody ever done this?

There aren't any Palo brunch reservations available online..........only dinner

I called my travel agent (*************.com) and they checked with Disney. As of today, the June 3 sailing is still scheduled to go to Cozumel. Cruises up to March 25 will be going to Costa Maya.

Dweaver,
My son just turned 8 in January and likes to make friends. He's looking forward to the Oceaneers Lab, he had lots of fun in the Oceaneers Club last year, so much so that his grandmother had a time getting him to do things with her.

We now have our cruise paid in full and are waiting for the 75 day mark to possibly book some excursions if there are any left. When some of you already booked on-line, were you able to book at 12:01 a.m. EST or 3:00 a.m. EST? I have heard both times and would like to be sure. Thanks! I would like to go to Palo some time during the cruise for our anniversary, but if we are not able too, then it still won't be that much of a disappointment. Just not having to cook or clean up for a full week will be rewarding enough!

My family and I are really looking forward to cruising for the first time. I know SimbaN is staying at the Radisson the night before, along with us too, is anyone else staying there the night before?

:)

We are also staying at the Radisson the night before the cruise. We are driving down Friday early AM. Should be at hotel early afternoon.

Tam Pa,

We were able to book excurstion at 3:00 A.M. E. I had no trouble getting on at all. I was also under the impression that so many reservations were saved for 75 day out and then also when you get on board. If you can't get what you want on line go straight to the reservations desk and then you should be able to book then as well.

My two DD's and I are staying at Port Orleans French Quarters the night before. Friday night is extended hours at the Magic Kingdom so we will go to DTD and then then MK until 1:00 A.M. We did this in 2004 too and had a great time. We will use Florida Town Cars for comute. They are awesome!!!
Good Luck on your excursions.

Lisa

We are hoping to be at the Radisson on Thursday afternoon. We are coming from the Dallas area, but are drivin to Ohio first to see some family.. then down to Florida.

We are staying there as well, but not getting in until late.

OK. Everyone staying at the Radisson, let's have a mini-DIS meet at the pool tiki bar around 3 pm on Friday. All the kids can swim and the adults can partake in something tropical. :drinking1

What do you think??? :thumbsup2
