I forget where I got the information - probably from traveling companions who are part of Castaway Cay but here is what I believe to be true.
Saturday is casual, Sunday is casual, Monday is formal, Tuesday is casual, Wednesday is Pirate theme , Thursday is semi-formal and Friday is casual.
From what I understand, the pirate theme did replace tropical night (although we are going with the tropical theme for pirate night)

Will still be around today and tomorrow - flying out Friday morning and staying at the Hyatt at the airport to take shuttle out Saturday morning. I'm envious of those who are already en route, although looking at what I have left to pack, am glad I haven't hit crunch time yet!

Hey everybody! Sorry I haven't posted in a few days. I have been busy getting ready for the trip and keeping my DS occupied, since he is out of school. I think I am finally making a dent in my "to do" list. For awhile there it seemed that every time I crossed something off, I would think of something else to add to it.
Cinlyn: DS is wearing a pirate costume from this past Halloween for Pirate night. DH and I are going to wear tropical clothes.
GoofyTeacher: I made us name tags for the DIS meet out of the Home Depot paint chips too.
We leave Friday morning to drive down to Orlando. I can't wait! We are so ready for this vacation!

OK...tried to "pack" for the cruise today. Holy cow!! I thought I had it all under control but when you try to squeeze it all into suitcases its a whole different game! Do I really need 2 outfits for each of us for 7 days???? I assumed an ensemble for the day and one for dinner plus all the accessories. I hope my cabin is in the middle of the ship otherwise we've got some serious ballast issues!!!

Baloo- Too funny. I haven't even decided what outfits I'm bringing but usually end up taking the whole closet. I'm at the back end of the ship. Maybe we will balance each other.

See everyone on deck 7 at 3:00! Are you guys wearing dis green tags or clothes?

The day is finally hear. We are leaving this evening to go to my parents house (about an hour closer to the ship). I have last minute items to do before we leave. I'm taking the kids for a picture in their formal wear this morning with DMIL, getting lunch with her, giving DD a nap, and then we are all going to the chiropractor to get a tune up before we leave.
I don't know who is more excited- DH, DMother, DStepfather or the kids.
We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday at 3:00 on the deck 7 aft. We will be wearing cloths- I do not want to scare anyone!

Is everyone wearing green tags? I missed that somewhere. I guess I'll need to run to HD, I made white ones. I might just make due with green scrapbook paper, I don't have time to scurry to HD.

I have not been able to sleep the last couple of nights. DH and I sit up and talk about what we need to do and want to do before and during. I was packing DD4 last night at 1:30AM because I couldn't sleep. I need to get off this computer and get my house organized. I hate coming home from vacation to a mess.

I hope I can get some sleep tonight, otherwise I may lose my mind.

GoofyTeacher, I'm sure your white name tags are fine. I didn't even think to make name tags, and there is no time to do it now.

I'm still at work. I'll probably leave early, go pick up the boys from their dad's house, head home, clean a bit, finish packing (got most done last night) and TRY to get in bed early. We have to leave the house by 4am at the latest to catch out flight tomorrow. TOMORROW!!! See you all on Deck 7 aft at 3 on Sat.

We are finally packed and ready. DS is so excited about this trip he can't stand still. We will be wearing our green DIS pins on our lanyards for the DIS meet. By the way, if anybody gets the Travel Channel, the DCL special is on at 7pm tonight. We have seen it several times, but thought it would be appropriate to see it the night before we leave.

Hope everyone has a safe trip and we will see you at the DIS Meet at 3 pm on Deck 7 Aft.

Well - we are headed to the airport - safe travels to all.

I will see everyone onboard though I will miss the 3pm meet - we will be tying the knot at the time. Although the celebration is on Castaway Cay - by law the official ceremony must take place prior to departure).

Hi friends! We fly out tomorrow at 11:15. We will try to make it to the DIS meet on Saturday at 3:00. Being first time cruisers, I'm not sure if we will have ourselves together by that time to find you guys. We will be wearing green tags (so if you see us, help us! ). We are all very excited! My thoughts and prayers are with each of you as you make your individual trips to one awesome destination!

We fly out this afternoon and "I'm too excited too sleep!" I've showered, made coffee, and listened to the phone message for my barber to figure out if I can get in there at 6:00 AM. I'm looking forward to the DIS meet if I can work it out, my son has a million things planned starting the earliest we can board. Everyone travel safely and I hope to see you there.

I hope everybody has made it home safely and for those that are still on vacation, no fair --- It was great to meet most of you on the ship. We had a blast. This was so much better than the 4 day from last year. We actually felt rested after we got home this time. Our DS is already scheduling a cruise for 2008 to include DD, Mamaw and Papaw and us of course.
