Ok so we have a deposit on this cruise. We are so close to booking it. I figured I would get looped in to meet all of the fellow cruisers!

I was curious if any of you that are having celebrations onboard, have ordered or intend to order, the gift packages that DCL offers. I thought about getting the 'Bon Voyage' package, but just wasn't sure if it was worth it money-wise.

Just out of curiosity....is Lawry's restaurant an 'offshoot' of the bottled seasoning?? It would make sense if it was.

Same owners. They roll a big silver cart to you table with a big prime rib in it with all the fixings. You tell them what size on the menu you want an they'll cut it to your spec.
Try the bowl cut 32oz it's awesome. Cream spinach,hot as jus and real horseradish oooooooooo. They get really busy on the weekend so call early.

Hi everybody,,, it is me, Bill. Back from seeing Mammaw. The hats that DCL sells prior to sailing are real cool. We have a bunch of them. They apparently only come in white now. Before , you could also get black. I am wearing a black one today.

Are they like sailor hats, or what do they look like? I've never seen one

They are caps,,, baseball type. They have the DCL logo on the front. Sign in on my cruise plans and look to see the items for sale before you cruise. You buy it in advance and they put it in your stateroom at the time of your sailing. I think it is the only way you can get these caps. I like them alot and have a bunch at home. I am pretty sure they don't sell them on the ship in the gift shops.

Hey Bill!! How's it going? How's Mammaw? I've been wondering after you mentioned about not getting a hold of her one day...I'm lucky enough to still have mine...she's 87! My "mom away from mom" as I was growing up. Anyway, yes, I did see the white caps...I may just have to get a few for us Hmm...Puerto Vallarta...tough call on that one. That port seems to have a few I liked. I'm still hoping the Pirate Ship will have availability for us. It seems like the time is just crawling by for me to be able to book!!! Monday night at 9:00pm will be when I find out....hopefully there will be a few things left.

Hey, EM,,,, Hey to omgbrittx,,,,,,,My son Billy is 15. This will be our seventh Disney cruise. Let me know if you would like him to post here on the boards and I will tell him. He knows the Stack very well. Are you familiar with it? It is the teen club in the forward smoke stack on the Disney Magic!!!!!! No kids, No parents ,,, just teens.. Open until 3AM.... Pool parties, Pizza parties. teen oriented dances ,, no foul language allowed, but they use substitutes for those people so inclined. Such as "aft",,,. Okay,,, time for try outs, for the show Buzz Lightyear,,,,, "The Bananas" YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There will likely be TWO fireworks displays for this cruise. One for the pirate night and the other for THE FOURTH OF JULY!!!! You won't get that on any other cruise. And now a visit from the most famous rock group from Florida,,,,,,,,,,,,, "The Hanging Chads"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I'm actually kind of surprised that there isn't more information regarding the whole 4th 'thing'. I guess I just thought Disney would offer up all kinds of info to let us know what would be happening. I mean really...it's a major U.S. holiday that is being celebrated...it's a big deal, at least to me. Every year we have a HUGE block party and it's so much fun, and this year we'll obviously be missing it. But I just hope there's at least something that Disney does to at least recognize it

Em,,,, No I am not sure,,, But I would be willing to bet on it. I could try to call DCL and find out for sure. Walt Disney has always celebrated the Fourth in Big fashion. I can't imaging that they wouldn't do the same on the ship. I also don't think they will wait until Friday to have the pirate night. Do you want to call DCL and ask. I am at work and probably cant' get to it right now. Maybe some of our readers have some feedback from cruises past. Announcing the entertainment for day three of the cruise::::::
