Hi Pizzieduster and Hawaiian Mickey. Also to the others. Thanks for the update on the stinking Rose. I am REAL curious about Lawrey's for prime rib. Keep posting so that we can stay at the top of page one. I am thinking that we will end up eating at the chicken place when we go to Knotts Berry farm.
But I can't get out of my mind, the Stinking Rose.

Lawry's is very good...love the yorkshire pudding and the creamed spinach. DH actually thought that the prime rib at the Stinking Rose was better than Lawry's though...

Ooh, but do not miss Napa Rose, though...love that place...

Just out of curiosity....is Lawry's restaurant an 'offshoot' of the bottled seasoning?? It would make sense if it was.

Hey all. We (DW and DS6) will be sailing on this cruise. We are Cat 6 on deck 6. We will be celebrating DS's 6th birthday on the 29th, and our 9th wedding anniversary on 7/3. I hope they plan to have fireworks for the 4th.

I subscribed to this thread thinking I would get e-mails when people posted. Oops! Now there are 15+ pages!

Back to say Hi! We are all paid up, and have our Palo, Spa and Shore excursions booked. We will be at the Grand Californian for three days before the cruise.

Early seating.

I will be renting a Tux, and so will my son. Step up to the plate guys!

Yes it is. Very good place to eat. I have eaten at the "Stinking Rose" in SF, and loved it but never thought of it for Steak.

I wish we were able to leave earlier....since my DD doesn't actually get out of school til the 27th, we're kinda stuck. Our AP's are blocked on Saturday too, but we absolutely LOVE the PP pool. So we'll be making our mad dashes to our favorite rides Sunday morning before we leave for the ship. Only drag is DCA doesn't open til 10am, so it may just be DL this time....we'll see how fast we can run

Hey Bill! It's your old mid-ship cat3 neighbor from the PC cruise. Glad to hear all is well and you are heading out here this summer. We won't be on the cruise with you...but we only live about an hour away from Disneyland..maybe we can pop down and see you. Best to your family!

Hello all! I am back from months ago! I forgot all about this thread!
My fiance and I are really looking forward to this cruise. It is just us as it will be our honeymoon!! Yay! We are going to be spending a few days in the Disneyland Hotel before the cruise. It will be our first time at DL and I am so excited to see it (I am a WDW nut so it should be interesting). We have booked a brunch at Palo and reserved all of our excusions!! We are just doing beach/pool days in Cabo and Mazatlan but we are doing the Dolphin Excursion in PV! I have always wanted to be up close with a dolphin!
Now, I will have to remember to check back in on this thread alot!

Jim,,,, I am stunned,,, this is great!!!!! Unfortunately, we will be in a cat 11 unless I upgrade. I am thinking about it. We are also doing a back to back 4 and 3 day Wonder June1 with Angela's grandmother, Mammaw. Are you guys okay? How is everybody? Billy is 6'1 and 15 now. Kristen is 12, 5'3. Angela and I are the same, just grayer. I am using just for men . So actually, I am the same age . Just added on points with DVC. Are they selling them out there? I always thought there was some law that prohibited it in CA. How is business? Which cruises have you done? Hey,,, I still have the bus poster from our Curacao shore excursion showing the DCL logo . This will be Mammaw's second DCL trip, did one in 2006, eastern to celebrate her 100th birthday. This will be the celebration for her 102nd. Assuming that we make it. She is in the hospital in southern Indiana, but, weaker than she is sick. Thank goodness for that. Increases the possibility that she will make the cruise. Lest you forget,,,,, I will now reintroduce you to the thing that I was known for on the Panama cruise thread,,,, your friend and my best friends,,,,, THE BANANAS!!!!!
Get back to me and everyone else , keep posting so we can show all of those faux posters.

The only excursions that are marked as full (as of this morning) are some (but not all) of the Dolphin ones.

If this your first DCL cruise? Before you could book on the web, and on our first cruise with DCL, we would run around the ship for the first three hours trying to get things set. Try and avoid this.

Yes...first cruise. Our online booking can't begin until April 15th. That's kinda why I'm trying to get my ducks in a row. I totally agree with you...it's really making me crazy having to wait. I'm OCD big time...and organizing is my life...weird huh? That's why I completely appreciate all of your info...it'll totally help me when I go to reserve our spots
