10 minutes of active physical therapy allowed this morning for my back. It was still hurting me, and my PT worked on it a good amount today. Then he let me do a set of 30 reps, where in lie on my back, bend my knees and very slowly smoke them from one side to the other, stopping briefly in the middle. Then two sets of ten pelvic tilts. Hey, it's something!

I go back Tuesday afternoon after work. I was doing too much twisting in my workouts, trying to work my core more while standing. Not allowed to do that ever again, nor do I want to with how I've been feeling! He said I will feel perfect for the drive down to Florida in 34 days!

I have been following along with your reports, and I can identify with you. I have had shoulder issues for quite a while - till it got to the point that I could hardly lift my left arm. Not even able to close my car door, sleep on that side, put mail in the drop off, bank drive through, you name it. I finally went to the ortho and he diagnosed frozen shoulder. Doesn't sound painful, but let me tell you, it's painful! I started going to PT in May, and I am SO much better!

I have just taken it slow - I have so wanted to do upper body stuff, but have had to take it easy. I didn't count my one hour physical therapy sessions as exercise, but I probably should have. They have been work.

I was able to do one plank tonight. That would have been unheard of even a couple of weeks ago. I don't want to overdo it, though. I think I may just start lifting some arm weights and build up now that I feel able.

I say all that to say that you WILL get better - take it slow and steady. And remember that any progress at all is progress!:goodvibes I'm so glad that you will be feeling better for your trip. That was motivation for me too - I have already been on one trip this year with pain and limited mobility in my shoulder/arm and didn't want that same experience for our upcoming Disney trip!

Slow today and yesterday - back spasms - did not want to push it

15 minutes core training - back to running tomorrow!

500/1200

Made sure to get some exercise in and went for a one hour walk yesterday. Would not have done that without this challenge!

Ran 8 slow (80 min) miles in gorgeous weather. I normally run at night after putting my DS to bed. I decided to run during his nap yesterday, since it wasn't too hot. I need to remember to throw some sunscreen on if I do that again. I have a pretty tan line across my forehead from the headband I wear. Awesome.

The rest was waking. I hit 23k with my fitbit yesterday.

Added 100 minutes from lots of walking, yard work, and strength training this weekend.

made it nearly halfway for the first half of the month. Went for a run, did some sit ups and push ups and then biked to my parents. :thumbsup2

55 minute family walk today. Hope that everyone got to celebrate with a special guy - dad, grandpa, hubby, uncle, etc. Happy Father's Day!

bangzoom-- glad you get to do some more exercising. Remember to go slow and not hurt yourself!

Magdalene--yeah for motivation! Did you know you are only 40 minutes shy of 50%?!

briveigh --:welcome: You are off to a great start! :thumbsup2

desiree--your poor baby. Hoorah for a pool! :fish:

ebradley--Unless you were running backward, your time was off. I think you meant 1203 (since that's 83 minutes more). That's what I put for ya, but if I'm wrong, please correct me! :teacher:

o2h--great job!

Keep up the awesome work, WISHers. Some of you are very close to changing colors. I can't wait to update again! :cheer2:

I'm going to get this right eventually. I added my Saturday numbers to my Thursday end of day. Geez.

1302/2400 are my current numbers through Sunday.

Walked yesterday.

I updated my post from the other day, I miscalculated!

Back to PT tomorrow, and hoping I can do some more active PT work and post the minutes here. I've definitely learned my lesson this time...no more twisting exercises! Yesterday my back was hurting badly on the left side. Walking helped, so it was good we surprised DH and went to Coney Island and the Boardwalk to walk around. The lumbar pillow helps tremendously in the car with stiffness and my PT said it is a great idea to use it both at home and on the long drive on our WDW trip. He says I should feel perfect for the trip! Today I'm feeling better, and hoping it continues. :)

I've forgot to post a few days
