We're three days from Disneyland! I'll be posting a Trip Report when we get back (a pre-trip report is started so I'll have a place to post when we get back). We were talking today about the red-eye flight we'll have coming home and how when we go to London next summer, we're glad we'll have a couple of days before boarding the ship to get acclimated to the time / rest from the overnight flight.

If the weather continues...bring sweatshirts!!! June gloom is going strong this month!!! we are 60 miles from Disney...went yesterday and it was gorgeous...but needed a sweater!! have a great trip!!!

I am sad to say that we are not going to be able to go on this cruise due to the itinerary and concerning work related issues. One of the stops is a :sad2:

We were truly looking forward to seeing our friends from the Med cruise.

Although we can't do this itinerary, I did book us a 14 night Greek Isle/Adriatic Sea cruise on the Norwegian Gem July 3, '10 - so we're still sail'n :cool1: I know it's not the Magic, but we'll be in a Penthouse suite (w/Butler and Concierge) for a couple grand less. Certainly happy about that, and we're still sail'n :cool1:

I ended up "dummy booking" our ressies to Dec '10 with the idea of eventually picking up a cruise on one of the new ships. Maybe will get together then!

hello fellow travelers...my dh and i have just signed up for this cruise...it will be our first cruise so we are very excited. good thing we have several other trips to the world (and one to the land) to get us through the next year. However this could be a dangerous trip with my love of shoes from london (might as well fly over early and be prepared for trip), scandinavian design, most russian hockey players (ovechkin, semin and varlamov to be exact) and anything disney!

We are so sad that you and the family will not be there John. Eleni :mad:was upset about it, you know how she loves your boys!....We will have to plan another cruise or get together...your new cruise sounds like fun...send me your itinarary...

Hey, orangebird, we are also Caps fans (and I am a shoe fan). Welcome aboard!

We were there Sunday also! It was our delayed Mother's Day celebration (since we couldn't go to Santa Barbara in May because of the fire). It was a beautiful day- but as you said, a jacket was needed in the am. I actually looked for you while we were there :)

Only two weeks until our trip to WDW:cool1: 8 more days of school!!!! Summer can't get here soon enough:woohoo:

Hope the 3 of you have a great vacation! Let us know how WDW was. We have never been there in June....Hope it is not too hot for you....
Did you see John and family will not be on the cruise?:guilty:

Hi everyone! We had a wonderful time at Disneyland. Our big souvenir was adding on DVC points at the Grand Californian :) I'll be posting a trip report over on the DL Trip Report board here at DIS once I get a chance to download our pictures.

We flew the red-eye home and were exhausted yesterday but much more rested today. Just a preview for our trip next summer. Gary and I were out shopping today and bought two of those neck pillows as we saw a lot of people traveling with them this week and we also both dozed off and had cricks in our necks this trip - so we have them for our flight to London next summer!

Hope you all are well - I've got to go back and catch up - I see there is a trip report from the area to read - yay!

Glad you had a good time Cindy...let us know how you liked it...not like the World but it does have fun things too....
LMK when your trip is on line...

We had gotten two Samsonite wheeled duffle bags several months ago and used them on our trip to California. We love them. They are roomy and sturdy and can pack a lot of stuff in them. We liked them so much that we went back to Costco tonight and got two more, so now we'll have four for our trip to the Baltic. Love them!

Our trip report is in progress -- see the link in my sig-line.

Hi All - we're booked on this cruise CAN'T WAIT!!! It's me, dh & my 2 boys, they'll be 12 & 14 (ouch) when we sail. We were aboard the ship in April & decided to try Europe next!

We're planning on coming in a few days early & go to Paris, then stay a few days late & visit Wales (dh's family heritage is Welsh)

I didn't read all 100 pages but am looking forward to meeting everyone. Especially can't wait to see the tour offerings.

There is a good group here for sure. Some of us have traveled before on cruises together and others are new friends!
Check out the first post of this thread for information about a website....
We want to go to Paris before the cruise too....getting close to making reservations....

AuroraFan - welcome aboard! I'm Cindy D., traveling with DH Gary, and sons Nathan (who will be 14) and Zachary (who will be 12) when we sail. This will be our 5th DCL cruise - we are so looking forward to it. We'll be in London a few days early... Gosh, this time next year, we'll be packing!

I'll add you to the "who's sailing" list on the first post in the thread. We're trying to keep all the important information there so it will be easier to find. I haven't updated in a little while so I need to do that this week.
