Visa is required if you are planning to tour St Peterburg on your own. If you take a private tour or an excursion, the entry visa/permit will be taken care off.

Hi everyone! We had a wonderful time at Disneyland. Our big souvenir was adding on DVC points at the Grand Californian I'll be posting a trip report over on the DL Trip Report board here at DIS once I get a chance to download our pictures.

We flew the red-eye home and were exhausted yesterday but much more rested today. Just a preview for our trip next summer. Gary and I were out shopping today and bought two of those neck pillows as we saw a lot of people traveling with them this week and we also both dozed off and had cricks in our necks this trip - so we have them for our flight to London next summer!

Hope you all are well - I've got to go back and catch up - I see there is a trip report from the area to read - yay!

Hi All - we're booked on this cruise CAN'T WAIT!!! It's me, dh & my 2 boys, they'll be 12 & 14 (ouch) when we sail. We were aboard the ship in April & decided to try Europe next!

We're planning on coming in a few days early & go to Paris, then stay a few days late & visit Wales (dh's family heritage is Welsh)

I didn't read all 100 pages but am looking forward to meeting everyone. Especially can't wait to see the tour offerings.

Hi everyone! Cindy glad y'all had a great trip. One of these days I am going to make it to DL. We are now 18 days from leaving for WDW and our Tortola cruise. I'm glad we ended up booking this as I'm not sure I could wait till next July to get back on the magic. Our plan is to add BLT to our DVC contract while down there.

Our plans are to leave one year from today. Luckily we have a hold-me-over cruise planned for November. I am starting to get excited. I figure I can really begin planning next week when we hit the one year mark.

Can't wait!!!
I have a deposit in I.I. to get a week at Disneyland Paris...before the cruise, hope it comes thru before we can book the air. This is so hard waiting for all these different dates to come up to book...Think I can start booking hotels around the 12th of June or so...and air in another month...
Just booked a trade for Southern California (Marriott's Newport Coast, we love it there) again for next April to get another Disneyland fix in before the cruise...and to celebrate my 30th anniversary for work at Disneyland!

Well, one year from today we will be getting off a plane at Heathrow!!!! woohoo!!! A month away from booking hotel and air!!! Is anyone starting to get excited as we approach the less than one year to go countdown?

Hi all! We are back from WDW and tired but very happy! It was rough going back to work this week, not even unpacked yet, lol.

Have not read up on the posts yet, but wanted to say a quick hi..can't believe we are into the one year countdown now! I have a feeling this time will go by faster than we think..

In honor of the one year mark, I broke out my stash of DCL's shampoo and conditioner... aaaaahhhhhh.... love that marine smell. I could smell it all day - so fresh and feelin' like I'm on vacation!

For those who may be considering a stay in Dover - have you found any hotels that look good with attractive pricing? Will you be renting a car in Dover? Just checking options..

Well...it is getting more official for us!!! Just booked 4 of our 5 nights at the London Marriott County Hall. We are using rewards so the 5th night is free!!! Have to wait 10 more days for it to be released, but we as good as have it!!! Checking in June 30th!!! Checking out on the 5th for a night in Dover!! It was County Hall or the Renaissance Chancery...went with river view of Big Ben!!! Tried for Grosvenor House but couldn't get a room for 3.

Now the stress for the next week or so for which airline we are going to use. We are using AMEX points so we are limited to Virgin, Air France, Delta, and North West. Could be as little as 225,000 to as high as 600,000. CRAZY!!! They all want taxes and fees as well. Will post when we book!!!

We're at the Renaissance Chancery through DCL. three nights pre-cruise and two-nights post-cruise. I'm anxious for airfare to be released / bookable so we can decide if we're going to try to do air on our own or just stick with DCL. Anyone know if airfare drops considerably, will DCL's prices also drop some?

I've been reading the book from the library when I realized they probably had it online They do mention an English language newspaper from St. Petersburg that comes out twice a week: http://www.sptimes.ru - I think it will be interesting to read a bit through the next year and learn about where we're going. I think I want to do the same sort of thing for the other ports we're going to. This links to a picture of St. Isaac's Cathedral.

Anyway, it's gonna be a wonderful experience!
