Sorry if I didnt explain that well. When the couple was married, they had one son together (biological son). Larry's wife died of cancer when their son was 2 1/2. After that, Larry decided to pursue adoption, and ended up with 8 adopted kids(HE Didn't adopt them all at once, over the course of years), and one biological son he had when he was married. He said being a single male it was hard to adopt in the USA, so he pursued out of the country adoption. His biological son is 19 now..The last child he adopted is now 3.
They showed a small glimpse into his life, doing laundry, cooking, doing the girls hair, matching outfits..all the normal stuff that the majority of mothers do. It was very ineresting..now that would be make a good TLC show.

Gotcha. I was wondering what I missed there. That would be interesting, but he would get torn apart just like everyone else does.

Don't worry though, it doesn't matter whose home they went into, people would rip them apart for the way they ran their household.
That man was a really neat man, big-hearted and loves his kids. I enjoyed his inspiring story. His biological son seemed like a good sport about it all also.
Yep. You know the quote "I was a perfect parent before I had kids?" Seems to fit those who so harshly criticize these public families. Yep, they opened themselves up to it and everyone absolutely has a right to voice their opinion, but sometimes...
That is true, it seems like a lot of the highly critized stuff probably does come from those without children. I know for me, I had NO idea how much work or how difficult some days would be when I became a parent. Is it all worth it? Absolutely! Am I perfect, nope, far from it! Thank God I don't have a film crew chronicling all my bad days! But, again, J&K did open themselves up to that kind of criticism. I wouldn't do it but it seems like they're able to remove themselves from that. Or at least it appears that way....
That's not really what I was getting at, but I didn't make it too clear, either. It's a fact that moms are hard on each other. So, most of these women probably think they would do it better in Kate's situation (like those who have all the answers for other parents...and then they end actually have kids), but until you walk a mile...
What other cliches can I throw out there?
P.S. TF12 mom's got Kate beat! Already a commercial, and they're only on, what, episode three? How could she sell out her kids like that?!?!![]()

Off topic, but...
Dugger update: Josh and Anna are expecting!
They were on Larry King tonight.
Shame on your TotalSnowWhite for not being clear!Actually I would agree with your clarified statement. Moms are hard on each other and I bet there are Moms who think they'd do it differently and better. I don't know man, I have only 3 (granted we homeschool so I'm with them a lot!) but I'm convinced that kids have a special talent for making their parents crazy
I say that with all the love I have for my 3 girls too so don't think I'm a bad Mama for saying it!
I like the Table for 12 fam so far. I hope they can maintain normalcy too. That sweet little commercial where the Mom is holding her little girl and she says "T-L-C." Cute!

I was talking about the Ragu commercial. At first I thought it was product placement, but it was a full-fledged commercial.
Target didn't have that much. I was really shocked when I saw how little they had. But I did manage to get a couple of 6-pack Reese's eggs and some Rolo's. Walgreens - peanut M&Ms but nothing at CVS.![]()

I do kinda want spaghetti now, though.![]()
I can doctor up some ragu with Italian sausage and omg it's YUMMY!!
OT, went to Target today and bought 2 barstools....no candy though..
Like any of us are surprised about that...
Honestly they seem like a sweet couple and I wish them well, but I think their lifestyle is a little whacked.
