What I'm saying (Jodi's sister's blog) has nothing to do with the Pennmommy site. Jodi gives a video message saying "it's all true", meaning her sister's blog is true. Basically, Jodi's sister's blog goes on to say how Kate treated Jodi.
Jodi was offered money from TLC for helping out - and Kate said NO WAY!

If you go read the most recent post on Jodi's sister's blog and she says that it was never about the money, which seems to totally contradict her earlier posts.

I for one, even after seeing that video am still not convienced that Julie is Jodi's sister. Or even that, that the person in the video was in fact Jodi. Yes it looked simular to Jodi. And why is the only photograph one that is a far (not close up) view of the entire family and hte only close up one of them in high school or whatever?

You must be joking. If someone posed as Jodi's sister AND Jodi on the internet via video, blog and family pictures (which included Jodi's real huband and real kids), you don't think the real Jodi would have done something? I don't know, I guess anything is possible.

This is not true. Jodi's sister has associated herself with PennMommy when PM first started her blog.

I don't much about pennmommy but Jodi's sister (Julie) DID have info on her blog that pennmommy was real....that has since been taken down. From what I understand, it is likely pennmommy duped Julie just as she had everyone else. I do think Julie and Jodi are for real, though there are two sides to every story. I, for one, will be extremely disappointed if Jodi turns out to be a horrible vicious liar! We sort of 'know' her from the show and she appeared to be very sweet and genuine.

I have not read much that pennmommy wrote, I was more interested in the Jodi side of it. It is truly sick to claim your son has died and people seem to be more upset over this than about the jon+kate stuff.

Julie's blog has a sort of condensed version of the rift between Jodi and Kate and it does make sense to me. There is a lot of past info on other sites from 2005 (before the series existed) about how Kate and Jon treated volunteers and those who donated to them. Now that was some interesting reading!
Anyway, I can see how this is a plausible scenario for jon+kate cutting people out of their life.

Yes Jodi's sister did delete info about PennMommy. GWOP also deleted all post by PennMommy. Obviously it is because PennMommy wrote the blog and created aliases just to bash the Gosselins. It's pretty easy to check IP addresses. We have a bit of that going on in this thread too.

Starting a new thread. The first one reached 250 pages.

I couldn't believe it when I used my bookmark from the old thread and it said CLOSED. I thought for sure that some sort of drama happened and I missed it!!

I hear there's other drama, but it had nothing to do with this thread. I'm still catching up on my post vacation laundry and haven't even started catching up on what I've missed. And I may not. I'm not sure. I think I'm sort of over it ... maybe

Thanks. I realized that Jodi's sister site wasn't associated with Pennmommy's; but she did vouch for her, which, in my mind, lessens her credibility.

that whole setup was a recipe for disaster ... if they wanted the kids to play, then they should have had them sitting off to the side, not in front of the adults, IMO.

I thought J & K + 8 was such a cute show. Now I'm reading about how k is with her family and I wonder how much longer the show can last. I mean, it's cute while the kids are small but I think it will start to loose it's charm as they get older.
I thought k was was way out of bounds over the gum incident. I felt bad for her child who had the gum on his favorite stuffed animal and his mom was threatening him about throwing it away! And then k called Aunt Jodi up on the phone and told her off for giving the kids gum! K did not come off looking so good after that episode!
If so many family members are not involved in their lives, there has to be a pretty good reason.

we had a GREAT time and we loved Pop Century!! It completely surprised us that we did, it was our first time at a value resort... we didn't know what to expect. We've already booked a bounceback rate for next year, that's how much we enjoyed it!

While I agree that Kate's reaction over a little gum was crazy, she certainly didn't "tell Jodi off" on the phone. She just said, "No more gum" and from what they showed, she said it calmly. Now, of course we don't know what happened before or after what we saw, as the show is edited.

I think the McCaugheys always appear on the Dec. issue of Ladies Home Journal. Those septuplets (7!) keep a low profile. They are 11 I think. Time gets away.

I was driving myself nuts thinking of the magazine they're on... I get (or used to get... not sure if my subscription expired, LOL) Good Housekeeping, and was pretty sure that wasn't it.

I'm not sure if this has been discussed yet or not but on gosselinsdonotneedourpity, they are saying Penn Mommy is a scam. Evidently she posted under many alias all with the same IP address. http://gosselinsdonotneedourpity.blogspot.com/2008/10/in-support-of-real-truth.html It really is sickning what some people are doing just to slam the Gosselins.

I think this video is why people get frustrated with Kate, at least partially. She just won't stop pretending they have issues with money. Why does she feel the need to pretend not to have plenty?

Does Santa not come to their house? I remember it seeming odd last Christmas there was no discussion of Santa bringing the gifts. Only Mom, Dad and fans. She sure didn't refer to him contributing to Christmas morning in this spot! Kate, kate, kate, kate, kate! She does look cute.

2 things about that video spot ... well, maybe 3

1. Is Kate going to be the new face of Kmart, a la Martha Stewart?

2. I thought she seemed very flat and blah in the interview. way too low key, IMO. Pleasant enough, but no sparkle.

3. I agree with the money stuff. Back when they were in the early episodes they talked about budgets and such, I felt like that was genuine. We're beyond that now.

About Santa? I don't think Santa got a mention in the episode where they celebrated Christmas. Possibly a religious thing.
