Welcome Leanne! Not all of us are in our forties. I won't say how old I am, but I will say I am old enough to have a 30 y/o son and another in his 20's., so I may be the big sister of the group. However, let's not forget that at Disney World everyone is a kid again. Disney World has no age limits and absolutely NO calories in their food.



What the heck! Are you going to ride it Rich? How about the tea cups and Expedition Everest a half a dozen times or so?

'Ya'll, Ya'll'! What the heck! Adrian, last Sept when we met you, I could have sworn you said you were from California and now living in Connecticut. I thought the only people to use the term, 'ya'll' were true born and bred, slow speaking, southerners, like myself. I always thought Yankees like you and Rich used the term 'you guys' instead of 'ya'll'. Hey, maybe Mark and I rubbed off on you.

Also what do you mean 'packing'? Eeeek! I haven't even thought about packing. Are you guys already packing? I guess I'd better start thinking about it at least.

Vanessa I can vouch for the fact that Adrian is a lot more Southern than I am - you should have seen him while we were driving through a regular old snowstorm up to visit my sister in New Hampshire - Adrian was scared to DEATH

I was thinking of you when I noticed that McDonald's up here is now selling Sweet Tea - but because Hartford, Connecticut isn't exactly know for it's Southern charm and hospitality, no one even seems to know what Sweet Tea is!

Vanessa I can vouch for the fact that Adrian is a lot more Southern than I am - you should have seen him while we were driving through a regular old snowstorm up to visit my sister in New Hampshire - Adrian was scared to DEATH

I was thinking of you when I noticed that McDonald's up here is now selling Sweet Tea - but because Hartford, Connecticut isn't exactly know for it's Southern charm and hospitality, noone even seems to know what Sweet Tea is!

Snow? That's that cute, fluffy white stuff that we get to see every year or so. Right? of course around here it usually melts before it hits the ground. If any does stick everything around here (schools, businesses, roads, etc) shut completely down. No one around here knows how to drive on the stuff, so I don't blame Adrian for being scared. No way am I getting on the road with that white stuff either.

Ya'll don't know what sweet tea is? Oh my, that delicious nectar from the gods that our babies around here cut their teeth on? One of the reasons that I usually order water down in WDW is that I can't get a decent glass of sweet tea down there. My GD went with her mom to Chicago to see her other grandparents who recently moved up there. When she came back, she said the only decent iced tea she could get was at her grandparents house. All the restaurants up there serve that nasty stuff that they expect you to add sugar to. That GD of mine does love her sweet tea and was not a happy camper when she came home!

Adrian, if you lived in DC for awhile, I guess you earned the right to use the phrase 'ya'll'. Just don't get to thinking that you are a true southerner though. You're still from out in Californ-i-a. Even people who move down here are never really considered true southerners, just transplants.
