No I said if it were the other way around and it were a regular person confronting McCain and asking him tough questions, the Repubs would say it was a plant. I know thats where he lives, but he did chose to go over and confront Obama, no one made him.
And if he wants to buy the business as he professed then he does need to be lisenced.
I don't care if Joe the Plumber can actually buy the business.
I don't care if Joe the Plumber owes back taxes.
I don't care if Joe the Plumber is or isn't registered to vote.
I care that Obama admitted to wanting to spread the wealth around, i.e. socialism. That's the big thing here. Not Joe the Plumber.
Socialism people. Take from those who earned it and give to those who didn't. THAT IS THE BIG DEAL.
And I am loving how now Joe the Plumber is a plant. Did he make Obama speak about the redistribution of wealth, too?

Keep up, will ya? Joe is an every day hero who went on TV to point out that democrats are socialists.Good lord, do you people only read what you like? I said I know he wasn't a plant but if the positions were reversed, the Repubs would claim he was. Geesh...
But wouldn't he need a master plumbing license or contractor license to operate the company and be bonded?![]()

He doesn't need one for the type of work he does. What difference does it make anyway. He can buy a company without being a plumber. That's how you create jobs, you HIRE people to work for you.
This is unbelievable. He's a regular citizen. It's just incredibly pathetic, for any party...and it makes me even more sad that it's mine doing it!

then I guess we have been a socialist society since the day the first tax was implimented.... or the first unemployment insurance.... etc. etc.
Oops?
Of course he'd need the proper licenses, when he bought the business. He hasn't bought it yet, but you'd want him to do it, and spend the money, before he actually need to.But wouldn't he need a master plumbing license or contractor license to operate the company and be bonded?

Do you advocate that everyone should have the same after-tax income? And if not, why?

my point is just that we are already sharing or redistributing weath in our country....
that does not mean that everyone needs to be financially equal...
and it does not mean that America is socialist...
check out warren buffets feelings about taxes!
My jaw dropped when I read his interview with Katie Couric after the debate:

This gem, in particular, shocked me
What the heck? Sammy Davis Jr?!?
Oh, and here's a full video of "Joe"'s conversation with Obama:
