Have a great week and enjoy that WDW DVD, OK??!!! (Gotta love all of those abbreviations! :teeth: )

Thanks - I always enjoy everything Disney :earsboy: . You wouldn't believe all of the abbreviations that I deal with everyday at work - they make everything an acronym - it took me awhile to learn it all.....I've only been there a year. :)

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I haven't written much this week - I haven't been feeling good at all! but little by little I am feeling better - thank god.....

Hope everyone is doing well - Have a great weekend everyone!!! :goodvibes

Hi Jodi,

Hope you are back to your perky self soon :flower: :flower: :flower:

Take care,
Sunny

:grouphug: This has been a horrible winter for illness! I hope you start to feel better soon! Listen to your body and take care of yourself! :grouphug:

Hi Everyone,

I am feeling much better now - I've gotten a lot of sleep over this weekend.....I hope to make it to the gym today.

We did get a lot done this weekend though. I put the deposit down on the honeymoon this past Friday (I can't wait to go) and yesterday we put the deposit down on the florist for the wedding......It's getting more and more exciting but a little scary at the same time - I love Bob but I'm already worrying about so many things. The walk down the isle will be the worst - I can't deal with walking infront of that many people. Anyone else deal with the same thing? - My worst fear is passing out infront of everyone. Bob doesn't understand it but I'm really not good in large groups of people.

Within the next couple of weeks the bridesmaids and I will be ordering their dresses (hopefully) the only thing is lately it has been so hard to get everyone together - my MOH seems to be missing in action lately. Everyone is leaving everything up to me to coordinate all of them getting together - I didn't think that it was supposed to work that way. How did the rest of you work everything. Even my mother says it isn't right - one of the bridesmaids expects me to drive her everywhere (she has her own). Everything seems to be stressing me out lately.

Talk to everyone soon!

Jodi,
As a person who has been a bridesmaid over 12 times here is my suggestion. Pick a time that is good for you and tell them to SHOW up. If they don't give them x days to get to the place and get fitted. If they won't go for the fitting, you don't need them. Worked for me every time. I either made the intial visit or just dropped by the salon a day or so before or after for a fitting.

If your bridesmaids are stressing you out, drop them... just tell them that you and hubby-to-be have decided to drop down the number of attendants. I haven't read all your posts, but if you have too many it always gets to be a nightmare. Three of four worked really well.

(At age 30 I announced I had retired from the "bridesmaid" game and I have stuck to my guns... I had bought more then enough shoes and dresses! LOL!)

Hi Everyone,

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day! We did - we ate way too much though!

I ended up paying off our DJ for the wedding!!! FI doesn't know yet but I wanted to make it a surprise. We did start to look at wedding bands too, I think I already know what I want. FI is paying for both rings which totally surprised me - I thought I would be paying for his and he would be paying for mine but he insists! :confused3

Haven't been doing that great on my diet lately but exercising is going okay - just a little hard to get on the machines at the gym.....I'm considering taking Yoga on my days off from the gym. I wanted to try Bikram Yoga (that's the kind in a heated room).

Workout from today:
Treadmill - 20 min, w.l., diff 5
Crossramp - glute setting, 20 min, diff 3
Arc Trainer - 15 min, w.l., diff 4
Prone leg curl & Leg extension superset - 50 pounds, 12 reps, 2 sets - 50 pounds, 10 reps, 1 set
Plate Loaded Squat - 290 pounds, 10 reps, 3 sets
Calf raise - 70 pounds, 12 reps, 3 sets
Stomach (against backboard) - 5 pounds between legs with legs bended, legs straight out with no weight, 12 reps, 3 sets
Step Ups - 12 reps, 1 set, with 9 risers - 12 reps, 2 sets, with 8 risers

That's it! - I was hoping to get more done but the other people at the gym dictate that. Oh well, all that I can do is try.

Well, today is my checkup with my allergy doctor. Over the weekend he had me go for a catscan (sp?) to check out me out even more. I hope that he doesn't find anything major.

Very excited about the wedding to come - more importantly I just want it over with (I'm looking really forward to going to DisneyWorld) :rotfl2:

Over the weekend we bought the Disney Scene It game but still haven't had the chance to play it! Hopefully this weekend.

Well, I am going to run - I have a lot to do before going to the allergist.

Jodi

Hi Jodi

:wizard: Good luck with the cat-scan, hopefully he is just being really thorough.

Your workouts are still great :teeth: I like the yoga idea. I especially like the clippie :rotfl:

You must be sooooo excited for the wedding and WDW by now! Stay focused :teeth:

Sunny

Hope all goes well with the :cat: scan. That was a bad attempt at a joke wasn't it? :confused3 Really, good luck. I hope everything is fine. Take care.

Thanks Wilderness - Everything went great! No problems at all the doctor is just really thorough.

I had a blood test done and they found a lot of my allergies - Next month, I go back and they get to test to what extent I am allergic to those things - Then we start treatment.

I just wanted to make sure that I am in the best shape I can be before taking on Tae Bo classes or Yoga classes.

Oh by the way I thought the cat scan thing was cute! :)

You bet! I am very excited - I just told my FI that I paid off the DJ fees....He was so suprised. He thought that I would have chosen to chip away at the biller bigs (I'm leaving those for him :rotfl2: ) but I think it just makes more sense to pay off the smaller bills first and then chip away at the bigger boulders :).

I'm starting to get really nervous though - Everyone thinks that I am crazy....but there are so many changes that I will be going through for the next year, actually a little over a year (to totally settle into the feeling). It's wild by the time Halloween and Christmas roll around I will be a Mrs. ...I know that is a weird thought all of a sudden (I've been doing that a lot lately).

How are you Sunny? How are the evil co-workers? :)

Hi Everyone,

Still haven't made up my mind if I want to go to the gym today or not - although I really should....Don't get me wrong I love going to the gym but today just feels like a jammie day to me - pop in some Disney DVD's and that's it!

Everything for the past couple of days has been go, go, go - That and I had to make up time at work for the doctor's appointments (been staying late at work).

My FI finally asked his best friend to be best man - now all that he has to do is ask my brothers to be in the wedding. Oh my god, I just remembered I have to call one of my brothers - his daughter, Lori-Ann, is in my wedding and we are going to look at dresses actually to put a deposit down on the dresses. There's so much to remember, aren't the people in my wedding party supposed to be helping me out? :confused3 I guess I can't get too upset my maid of honor is planning her own wedding and hers is before mine - that made me a little nervous too - don't get me wrong I'm very happy for her but just nervous that she won't be there for me as much. Is that selfish? God, I hope not....I'm just very very nervous.

I just hope that when I am walking down the isle I don't lose it and cry or worse pass out. This is why I wanted to elope.

Try not to let the little things get to you.. Keep the reasons why you are getting married in the fore front.....Yes the day is very special, but everything that happens before and especailly after will become more meaningful! Keep things in perspective and stop and take a deep breath when you need too!!! (I know it is easy for me to say ... I'm an old 31 year old who has been married 7 1/2 years... :rotfl2: Gosh I sound old!)

Hi Everyone,

Well, got a couple of things for the wedding yesterday - ballet slippers (they are getting dyed Ivory) and I got my slip for my gown. Also started to look at gifts for all of the girls I have so many ideas but everything costs so much!

Still need to get shoes for the wedding and the proper undergarments (other than the slip). ;)

OMG - it was so packed at the gym today, usually on Sunday there is no-one there...I still have to try and find out about taking Yoga classes at the local Bikram place but even that gets costly because you have to buy the proper clothes, mat, and all of that - plus the classes (for 10) are $150.00 or somewhere in that area.

I'm still not happy with the way that I look. I found one of my old bathing suits. I hope to get FI to take pictures of me with it on and maybe I can track my progress by those :confused3 . Everyone thinks that I am crazy but I really hate the way that things fit - they fit but then you have a little bit of a pinch of fat that I just can't stand.

I will post my workout later. :) Hope everyone else is doing well :earsboy:

You are really moving along with your wedding prep! Good for you! Gifts do get a bit pricey, don't they?!!!

Rememeber how hard you are working and know that the fat is melting away!!! It is going! Think of the wicked witch in the Wizard of Oz..."Melting.. Melting.... Oh .... I'm... Melting" That is the pounds talking! :rotfl2:

Oh god - yeah! Everything is so expensive but I am hoping to luck out with being able to get lots of things but with the smallest amount of money possible. Wish me luck with that one :goodvibes .

I hope you're right about that fat just burning away - I tried on my bathing suit yesterday and it had me nearly in tears although no-one understands why-they don't see all of the imperfectiions that I see? :confused3
