Something else has been filed today, most likely by Nurmi.
Motion to preclude any and all evidence related any weight assessments or testing on shelving at place of death,
What a crock.

Yes it is, this case is as cut and dry as it gets!
JA killed TA, she stabbed him 29 times, slit his throat and shot him in the head, she admits to killing him and there is tons of evidence to prove it also. Tell me one other case in human history that a person was slaughtered in that fashion in "Self Defense"? What is TA, The Terminator?
JM is getting the answers he wants also, ALV is trying her best to deny justice by being difficult in her responses, this is making JM take a long approach to getting the answers, but he is getting them and ALV is slowly crumbing under her only overreaching testimony that was based on LIMITED text based conversations with people she never even met.
Think about how how easy it is to take the side of someone you get to know like ALV did JA, vs someone have never met, you have limited texts fed to you about, and that also happens to be the person that person you are getting to know is bad mouthing?
It really bothers me that the testimony came in about that anorexic girl. I wonder how many people's lives got invaded because of the actions of Jodi Arias.
How ridiculous, he must be pretty sure that there is no way the shelves in TA's closet would hold her and not tip or break. On what grounds could he argue for that information to be kept out?
He would probably try to argue on the grounds of the people conducting the tests, but really that's about it. Other than that, I don't see it being kept out as JA herself testified that she allegedly used them to climb up to get the gun.
Well if the shelves held her up then what is the DT so worried about? I mean they believe everything she has said or written down. I am assuming that this is something that Juan wants in at rebuttal?
I have similar shelves and tested them, and they flip up very easily if you step on the edge.
I wonder if testing of the shelves was done back then but that they don't have the actual shelves now, or if they have the actual shelves now taken as evidence.

I don't know. What if they brought shelves in and they did not flip up?How ridiculous, he must be pretty sure that there is no way the shelves in TA's closet would hold her and not tip or break. On what grounds could he argue for that information to be kept out?

Per Vinnie Politan on HLN:
Direct examination you ask open ended questions...they are not leading questions, they are not "yes" and "no" questions. On cross examination you are permitted to ask "yes" and "no" questions. And that's what Juan Martinez is doing...asking "yes" and "no" questions but he's not getting "yes" and "no" answers.
Jingasaurus responded that that's true, but the judge is allowing it; she could say to answer "yes" or "no" but she is allowing Violet to expand her answers.

Beth Karas said this witness has been discredited, I thought good, let the Defense rebut and close their case so we can move on to the State's rebuttal.![]()
Off to go investigate but this was tweeted:

defense asks for mistrial: JM has thrown evidence and his pen, yelled at nearly every witness and hurled insults at defensse #JodiArias
