Jodi Arias Trial Part 4, starting with redirect of "expert" Dr Samuels, March 19

According to JA's blog journal entry that she posted on May 4, 2008, she stopped believing in The Law Of Attraction "6 months ago" ... So that was definitely before TA died ...

Wonder if she stopped believing because she wasn't getting her way no matter how many good thoughts she had?

Your kid sounds funny! LOL

I think that's part of it too, the bolded. Are you familiar with the Adam Kaufman trial? He was accused of murdering his wife. Long story short, he was found not guilty. I think he did it, partly because of his 911 call...I thought he sounded too fakely frantic and he just kept saying "I don't know what happened" and "she has marks on her neck...I don't know what they are" (not exact quotes). But the prosecution and the detectives really screwed up the case, and I think the verdict was correct in that there wasn't enough evidence, or it was very questionable, to find him guilty. Real? LOLUgh, I'm shocked. Here's another case where I think they screwed up the investigation so much, that they can't possibly convict ANYONE of the crime. The Italian "justice" system seems so screwed up too. Plus, personally, I don't think Amanda Knox did it.

I think I know what/who you're talking about. If not, my memory is of a very similar case. Think it was on forensic files. It's so sad how many botched cases there are where justice can't be served. Jon Benete Ramsey comes to mind on that one.

Wow, that needs to come into play. That was a month prior to his death. So she had no reason to not journal abuse.
Are you saying she should have gone back and journaled because she stated that she gave it up 6 months prior that there was no excuse not to journal?

Hi everyone

How much longer is Willie gonna schmooze this woman for today before she starts real testimony????

I can't wait to hear her NOT bash TA, because she doesn't do that..... ;)

I'm thinking by the end of the day we won't find her quite as likeable as she was yesterday.

:offtopic: Amanda Knox's acquittal has been overturned by the Italian court and she may be retried again. I loosly followed her case and she's another chick that I find very odd. Not sure how I feel about her guilt nor her innocence......

I don't know too much about Knox's case but I think there's something off about her. I saw this on Websleuths and thought it was an interesting coincidence, Amanda Knox, Jodi Arias and OJ Simpson were all born on July 9.

OMG hopefully not long. Her droning on and on yesterday was putting me to sleep. I ended up cooking while she was blabbering. :sad2:

Re: Amanda, if the first trial was flawed and the second trial was flawed, how after all this time can the third one be accurate? It defies reason. And they still have the man convicted of the murder in jail.

I fully admit what I know of this case came from the lifetime movie and the after show ;) and I am 60-40 leaning toward innocent. It is weird all around. They let her go and I think it should be over after 2 trials.
That's right, I forgot that someone WAS convicted. I think he might have confessed, but I'm not sure.

They said that she did cartwheels or something at the jail while awaiting questioning. But they also made a big deal about how she and her boyfriend were kissing outside the crime scene. I expected to see two people with their tongues down each other's throats, but what I saw were two people offering tender comfort to each other after her roommate was found murdered.

The prosecutor was a sick wacko obsessed with calling everything a sex crime, and he himself had legal issues. Some crazy ****.
Morning/Afternoon all.

LOL But we MIGHT still like her until JM goes at her.

I'm really at the point where I dread each day of the trial. It's so maddening, the dragging on and the frustrating questioning. I want it to be over, but I want it to be over with a 1st degree murder conviction.

I'm ready for it to be over also. I think the rebuttal will probably take a while, though, so I can't see this ending for at least another month - perhaps longer.

I want it over too. So much of my time has been taken up but I can't quit now. This trial would be better with a strict judge who didn't allow so much crap. A judge who was on time and who didn't allow so many sidebars and objections from DT. That's what irritates me so much. Out of the 6 hours of court, there is maybe two hours of testimony.

I was reading their laws. The double jeopardy law does not apply over there. So I guess they will try you no matter how long til you are locked up.

Wasn't Italy having money issues recently?
Maybe this is why.

There is a man in prison serving time for this poor girls murder and because this prosecutor has it for Amanda Knox he won't give up.

No, but we don't know how long she really did not believe this. But if she was truly abused no reason to not have written it down all along. But even so , that does not help her as she just stated she no longer believed it. I wish Juan would have addressed that question with her. But who knows , it may still come out in rebuttal.

I don't have any knowledge about the money issues over there. I still try to keep up with the concordia mess. It will take a long time to bring this man to trial.

I don't know much about her case. I did see something on the news about the evidence, I watched a few of the police officers hold a piece of a bra or something and they kept dropping it on the ground and holding it. So that would destroy all fingerprints or what ever may have been on it. I thought how nutty is that? I could see why when all the DNA was contaminated.

I am ready to go, let's do this! :cool1: Just hope Willie is about done with her BS session and we can get to some cross today.

Good Morning/Afternoon Everybody :wave2: ...

Let's hope the sidebars are kept to a minimum today :hourglass ...

Who wants to make a prediction on what color the DT will be wearing today? :scratchin ... I'm going to go out on a limb and say a pastel Pink, Yellow or Green ... Ok, I know that's three colors ;), but I'm thinking a Springy color ... :)

I'll say grey. I think it's way more fun to try and figure out what color Nummy's crazy socks will be though!
