Colombia Trip Report June 2024

Day 1/Pre-night: We flew into Bogota and arrived in the middle of the night but set our alarm to wake us up in time for breakfast at the hotel and to start to acclimate to the time difference. Breakfast ended at 10:30am and I scheduled a tour of the Salt Cathedral through Hansa tours to start at 11. The Salt Cathedral was IMMENSE and really cool to see. Photos of the place really don't give a great idea of the sheer magnitude of everything. Our guide was top-notch. We were back at the hotel by 5 and ate at a pizzeria near our hotel. The hotel in Bogota is in a great location with so many good restaurant choices around so there was no way to go wrong there.

Hi! We used Hansa Tours in Bogota due to their fantastic reviews and they did not disappoint. Top-notch service. Good luck!

Fortunately, I believe this is one of the cheaper ABDs to go on.
