I think another point JM was trying to make was, she knew exactly where the gun was BEFORE the incident. I was hoping he would've asked her "how did you know Mr. Alexander didn't move the gun from it's location? Did he always keep it in the same place?"

I've watched the Nancy Grace one about 10 times today. It just never loses its funny for me.

There's only one hand that could grab the gun. It would be the right hand if the gun was in the corner she said it was in. If she was standing on the shelf, she would've had to reach over her body to grab it with her left hand. She wouldn't have been able to reach it then.

So technically she would've had to hold on to the shelf with her left hand and grab the gun with her right in order to reach.

How could she not remember? That shelf still would not be high enough to reach to the back to clean. That stool is taller than that shelf level.

I am trying to understand about the shelf. Did Juan say that those shelves sit on top of the pegs? If so the whole shelf would have come off.

Rewatching some of the testimony on HLN. What is the picture Jodi took of her neck, in the car, on June 3, 2008?? The day BEFORE the murder?? I even rewound it to make sure. What's on her neck, and who did it??? They went to a sidebar as JM was about to show the pictures to her and when they came back, he doesn't talk about the neck pictures.

The back of the shelf would lift up. Picture a see-saw, your foot on the down side, the back of the shelf lifted up.

Exactly. An old entertainment center taking up space in our basement has shelves like that. No way would I ever think of stepping on them. Most of them are just particleboard anyhow, so I can't imagine them supporting all 120 pounds of her.

Speaking of which, did you see how she challenged him on her weight ... 135? No, 120. Whatever - the shelves still only hold 40 pounds.

Yes, they sit on metal pegs. Standing the way she alleged she was standing on the shelf would've caused the shelf to flip. The shelf flipping would've caused the shoes and stuff to be disturbed. Only way it possibly wouldn't have is if she was standing with her foot completely on the shelf.

Which led to his point that those shelves weren't designed to hold a lot of weight. She more than likely would've broken them if she did have all her weight on their. Especially being in a hurry and all.

Hickies from Darryl Brewer or Matt McCarthy or anybody else along the route to Travis'. Trying to make it look like Travis did it which could lead to more premeditation.

Also, as I stated in the past I'm about as tall as her. Looking at the picture, IF I was going to try to stand on those shelves, I would have put my foot on either the first shelf or second shelf. I don't think I could've really picked my leg up that high for the third shelf. At least in short limited amount of time.
