Jen's Journal.....Baby Steps to a new me

We just got a phone call that my Aunt Lois passed away less than an hour ago. Aunt Lois was my grandmother's cousin-they are as close as sisters. I havent seen her recently, but she was such a great woman--She wrote me a glowing recommendation letter and took it personally to the district i interviewed with yesterday--they all were asking about Aunt Lois during the interview. My grandma visited her last week and the first thing she asked was how my job search was going.

Aunt Lois goes to Florida every winter and got some tests done before she went this year,then put everything off--When she came home, they told her she had cancer and was spreading rapidly--shes been in hospice care for a couple of weeks and we just got the call.

Im feeling really upset and im not sure if i have the "right" to--I havent seen Aunt Lois in so long but I think about her often and shes been helping me so much lately..Figured I had to let you guys know

Jen, you have EVERY right to be upset. You have the right to be upset when a freakin celebrity dies...and this was a member of your family!

I'm so sorry for your loss, and I'm here for ya if you need ANYTHING!

Things just dont stop...THings have been so stressful at my house lately ....then my aunt died...and tonight , we ended up taking my dad to the emergency room--hes okay, but we just now got home and im exhausted..its one thing after another..i just need a break!

Well i just realized my post from last night (this morning ) was all over the place!
Things are just pretty blah here lately and I just need to get away from it all--things HAVE to settle down soon or im going to go crazy..
Between my aunt, my dad, family drama, stressing about working, im going CRAZY. Sorry for venting, just going a bit nuts..have a great day all!

I hope everything with your dad is ok....when I read that, it scared me....I know you're close with your family. I'm sorry to hear about your Aunt....and yes, you do have a right to be upset...she sounded like a wonderful woman! (And I bet she's pulling some strings up there to make sure you get the job you want!!)
Try to relax today and enjoy the activities...fireworks always make me happy....weird I know, but they do.

Good news on Steve...how long will he be home for?

You would not believe the craziness lately, so im not even gonna try to type it all..
Right now, i am taking pain meds for my back after getting "stat xrays" yesterday so im just taking it easy

as for me, i m spending the weekend laying in bed watching movies..my back is still pretty bad..my dad has the same pain as i am so my mom is wondering if its something with both of our kidneys--were headed to get ultrasounds this week i believe. ALso tomorrow, im picking up my brand new car!!!

I hope you and your dad feel much better soon. Hopefully you'll get some answers and be able to treat whatever it is that's going on with you guys. It's just so crazy that you both have the same thing going on.

new car!! im so excited that i pick it up TOMORROW!!! you know ill be mailing you a picture of it
Its a pretty blue--sunroof--6 cd changer-XM radio--woohoooooo ...so ill come over and you can come sit in the pretty car

I hope we get answers too, but im afraid of the answers we may get...you know? Dads making an appointment for tomorrow and he will tell the dr about my back too...fun times ahead lol

And congrats on your new car!! Oooooh, blue! I bet it's great! DH's Pilot came with XM free for 3 months and then he went back to the Sirius subscription I gave him as a gift. We LOVE satellite radio. I get so spoiled, though -- I am constantly looking at my radio display to see the artist or year. LOL!!! NOT happening in my car. That's okay. I love it anyway!

I hope you and your DDad get answers soon and that it'll be a quick fix!
