We just got a phone call that my Aunt Lois passed away less than an hour ago. Aunt Lois was my grandmother's cousin-they are as close as sisters. I havent seen her recently, but she was such a great woman--She wrote me a glowing recommendation letter and took it personally to the district i interviewed with yesterday--they all were asking about Aunt Lois during the interview. My grandma visited her last week and the first thing she asked was how my job search was going.
Aunt Lois goes to Florida every winter and got some tests done before she went this year, then put everything off--When she came home, they told her she had cancer and was spreading rapidly--shes been in hospice care for a couple of weeks and we just got the call.
Im feeling really upset and im not sure if i have the "right" to--I havent seen Aunt Lois in so long but I think about her often and shes been helping me so much lately..Figured I had to let you guys know
