whoa, whoa, whoa. What is this, pick on Kim night? Yeah, I'm the out of control one. You guys just keep telling yourselves that.

Marie....."hooptie?" MAN, that brought back memories for me. (not good ones either)

Jen - I can't wait for Steve to get home safe & sound.

So here is a mini report of my Friday--it was crazy
I got off work at 2 and headed home--showered and got ready since we were supposed to leave at 3:30---We got a call that it was delayed til 5:30 and Steve's mom was stuck in traffic and wasnt goign to make it!! She was going to sign us in on base so we needed to find another way (it was my mom, dad, and I--mybrother has a pass to get on)..So we call my brother's girlfriend and her stepdad and mom said they would meet us, but we had to go then...So we head to base around 4:00 and go through the signing in process and they drive to show us where Steve will be getting dropped off...We get there and a guy tells us they are now delayed til 9:30...So my brother's gf's family offers to take us all out to dinner at a place right off the base. So we all go there and eat and talk..it was the first time we had met the girlriends parents so it was nice...We stayed there for a couple of hours and then they took us to a military bar---i had a ball!! They said it would be the perfect place for me with all those guys in uniform--We stayed there til about 8:55 and headed to where Steve was supposed to be--it was a 2 minute drive and on the way, we saw the bus leaving--we had JUST missed them getting dropped off!

We parked and you should have seen us running! We got there and just started hugging and i got a bit teary. We spent about an hour there just taking pictures and hugging and telling stories..i met a few of the other guys he came home with and everyone just looked so happy!!

We decided to go out for drinks and ended up only staying there for a hour or so--but as soon as Steve walked in, we had the DJ play "sweet home alabama" which is HIS song!

SO there was some drama throughout the night, but all in all, all that matters is that steve is home and safe and that was his last deployment!!

haha funny one--Steve is a BROTHER..now , some of those guys i met that just came back from Iraq

Things are crazy here this week and im REALLY looking forward to the weekend (dont i always?!)

this weekend is really low key--no plans and im planning on RELAXING !!

Hi everyone and happy weekend!!

Hi everyone-
I have missed coming here to post--things have just been crazy with work lately and ij ust havent had the enrgy to come online much..

I have been thinking latley and i am starting to realize that i am happy with things lately...I know i may be happy in a different job or looking a different way or with a relationship..but i have happy now too...I mean, i may end up working at Goddard for a year and im okay with that! I dont know why Ive been thinking like this lately, but i just realized i am happy with myself now too.

On the bright side, i may be going to disney world for my birthday in October! I just need to figure out if i can swing it--i have the money but just going back and forth ....its always been a dream of mine to be in disney ON my birthday! I think i have decided that if im working at Goddard, i will doit--becuase i can take two dayso ff and actually be there for my bday!!! so its exciting to think about!

This weekend im taking it easy--we just found out my dad needs to have some major surgery so im pretty freaked out--we may be cancelling our plans for our colorado trip...so im kind of just hanging in and relaxing this weekend now....hope yo uare all enjoying it!

Im about 90% sure im going--if i am working at Goddard, im going! i just have to try to figure out hotels.. and let me tell you, theres a MNSSHP on my bday!!! im all excited and not even sure if im going!.

I hate stress, you know i stress entirely too much..im TRYING not to,,so maybe you should too! we stop stress then we can go out

When i got home from dinner tonight, there was a big envelope...i opened it up and it was my diplomas!! i feel so official now--i have my diplomas for my early childhood and sociology degrees! But the best part---both diplomas say i graduated with cum laude honors!!!! i didnt get the recognition at the ceremony so figured i missed it by a little bit...BUT I GRADUATED WITH HONORS im so excited

Hi everyone-
Just wanted to give an update on me ! This week is going to be a bit crazy.. My father is going in for surgery on Thursday and its pretty nervewracking. On Friday morning, i am flying out to colorado for my cousin's wedding. Ive really been looking forward to it, but am very nervous about leaving my dad right after the surgery.

I have lost a couple of pounds and am feeling pretty good about myself lately....I will be headed to the doctor tomorrow to try to get soemthing to get rid of this sinus infection--i dont want to feel like this on a 4 hour plane ride! So this week is going to be full of dr appointments , cleaning, packing, and trying to get ready for this trip. I will have internet access in my room and will be bringing my laptop , which is a first for me--ive never brought my computuer on vacation--so ill be checking in nightly im sure!

Im getting really excited aobut going to the wedding!! im mostly packed and ready to go....
