Jeff's "Shed the Belly" Journal (PLEASE COMMENT, I can use all I can get!)

Will Mickey be able to recognize you? I sure hope so! You're making better food choices each day! Keep it up! Add in more veggies, dress them up, name them-I don't care! Eat them and your tummy will be happy! (I personally like "broccoli trees", mashed cauliflower, tomatoes and "cucumber boats"!!) If you do feel like you're gonna get hungry, tote something you know is good for you along. Whatever you do, try not to be stranded by the EVM!!! (Evil Vending Machines!!) Keep drinking your water and try water without the Crystal Light because it could stall your weight loss!

hey walked 1 mile today...and I made dinner....now that is alot huh?

here was todays menu

try not to get sick when you read this

breakfast....3 fat free hot dogs and a spoon of fat free refried beans (ummmm good right???)
lunch.........well nothing ( I was fishing for dinner)
dinner.......fish, scallops, baked potato, squash,zucchani,onion (mixed together) haven't had a soft drink in about 13 days (wow that is like forever ago) :hourglass

oh yeah that mouse better be able to tell who I am....and better have me a nice gift....or no more cheese for him :earboy2:

Did you say you went fishing? And that you ate your catch for dinner? I am sooo jealous. Nothing better than fresh catch!
Good job on avoiding soft drinks! I know that can be a real challenge -- keep up the water intake. Very important!
 
Cam, I just have to tell you, the fish was AWESOME! I was so happy he caught the blue gill (and some croppie) yummie!! It was out of this world!!!

oh right I know you have all been waiting for me to post so here it goes.....

breakfast.....2 pieces of fat free bread, 3 thin slices of cajun turkey breast (a so called sandwich I guess)

lunch..........1 banana and a yogurt
I know it was a small lunch but wait till you see the dinner part....now keep in mind it was my son's classroom year end party

dinner.........1 hot dog( fat free???? who knows) 2 strawberries....some chicken broth with onion and mushrooms in it, 1 1/2 turket sandwiches (with lettuce and a piece of pepper cheese) 1 deviled egg,and something called well you know I have no idea what it was called....it was good..lol something rolled in powered sugar (you can ask Jen she knows what it was called) she is so smart she knows just about everything...and wow she is so cute too !!!

it's called "puppy chow" and no, for those of you who don't know, it's not REALLY puppy chow! lol, made with chex cereal, pb, and rolled in powder sugar, and thanks for reminding me honey i forgot to report I had some of that too :teeth: :rolleyes:

Jeff -- Sounds like you were pretty disciplined at the dinner, even though it looks more significant written down. Just think of what choices you might have made a couple weeks ago in the same situation. So, kudos to you for modifying your behavior! And, overall, your day looks like it was great. Keep up the awesome work!
 
here it is today's specials

breakfast.....cereal bar

lunch.......cajun turkey breast with mustard sandwich

dinner.....bbq chicken breast, baked lays chips, and a cereal bar


didn't walk today.....not lazy just had so much goin on around here...........but I did do the laundry ...does that count for anything?

6 more days till Disney.....who wants to go? :wave:

Sounds like you had an awesome day! How are you finding so much energy on so little food? I am jealous. I even woke up with my stomach growling this morning.

I am so excited to hear about your trip when you get back. Our next trip isn't until the 1/2 marathon in january, even though we have APs. I am so depressed over it, so I am going to live vicariously through you!

bet you all want to know what I had to eat today well here it is.....

breakfast.....a breakfast bar and an instant breakfast drink

lunch...........cajun turkey sandwich and 8 baked lays chips

dinner..........healthy choice dinner (chicken, shrimp, and rice)...and Jen's special chips and dip (that stuff is soooo good)

walked a mile tonight....sorry did not jog this time

anybody know how many more days????

wish me luck I want to get rid of 7 more pounds by the time we leave.

you know when I wake up and I feel hungry.....I just try to keep busy....I dust, vaccum, do laundry....something to take my mind off of food.....kinda hard sometimes...but wow what a clean house...lol.....lucky I have a sweet sugar momma like Jen....I just LOVE her !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lovestruc
 
Morning Gator Guy!!!!!!!! I know how you feel about not eating when you are bored. A clean house is nice, but I take advantage of getting out of the house and exercising!

ok all you gator fans....I know you missed me yesterday but we were out of town....wanna know what I ate????

ok here it is.....

breakfast....nothing....we were in a hurry to get out of town

lunch....I made up for breakfast here...2 pieces of pizza (supreme), 2 bread sticks (nacho chees sauce), grapes and apple slices (with fruit dip) and a piece of cake

wow that took over 2 lines to write....yuck !!!!

dinner....grilled bbq chicken breast (just 1 ) a salad,and grapes and apple slices


today I had
breakfast...instant breakfast drink and a cereal bar

lunch........2 pieces of fat free bread with 3 slices of thin cajun turkey breast (hey no mustard today) and Jen's special dip and fat free chips

dinner.... healthy choice dinner, fat free cottage cheese, and a yogurt

didn't walk today....well I did some with the boys at the mall and wal mart...can I tell you a secrete??????

Jeff, you are doing so great! I am really happy for you. And I don't even know you. I can't even imagine how proud of you your friends and family must be. You ar setting a great example for your kids too. Keep up the great work!
