Congratulations

Who will get #500 - at this rate it will be in a few days!!

We are silver too but don't really need to make any reservations. Well sign the kids up on line. We have yet to Palo's , it just doesn't interest us. :confused3

Off on a field trip with my dd grade 5 class today. We are going to the Royal Ontario Musuem to see the China exibit. I am so excited they have the clay soliders there.

Let me know how that goes - we have been waiting for a bad weather day to go to the ROM and see it.

Regarding Palos - the food is amazing!!!!!! Service is exceptional......I dont normally do things without the kids - but this is definately worth putting them in the clubs for a couple of hours

My limo is full :thumbsup2 Once we decided to do this, my in-laws decided to get a ride to the airport from friends and head down with us rather than drive down and park at the port so there will be 8 of us (my in-laws live in Orlando)

Still haven't finalized which company to use....so many options!!!

I've had good service with Happy Limo (and they have a mousesavers discount). I also have had good experience with Black Diamond, though they are slightly more expensive.

If at all possible - everyone shoudl try and arrive early. We got there around 1030am, had a small wait but then we got on the ship, had lunch, went for a swim..... and then finally made our way to the party. It was a fun way to start the vacation.

Just wanted to say, that for those of you planning on getting to port early with kids and worried about the wait, on the main board someone came up with a scavenger hunt for the cruise terminal. I have a copy of it. If interested, PM me and I can email you. I am going to put my SIL to work entertaining my older 2 kids with the scavenger hunt (she is single and an adored aunt who hasn't seen the kids in over a year so she'll love it) I am handing the baby off to Nana and then I am going to just sit kid free and recover from my 5am wake up/flight/airport experience and get ready to cruise:dance3: If only they served "boat drinks" in the terminal!!!!:rotfl:

has there been anything on the meet once we are onboard? can t remember if there was anything planned as of yet? Still havent thought much about excursions maybe the butterfly farm on St Marten other then that shopping and the beach I suppose. I do plan on booking some alone time at the spa just for me myself and I LOL still have to make final payment so have to wait till then to do so.:goodvibes

Yeah I like that idea boat drinks in the terminal!

I was going to either use Happy Limo or Southern Elegance (a bunch of people on the main board said they were good and they are a little cheaper). The mousesavers coupon is only good for round trip and we are only using a limo one-way:sad2:

I am going to call and see if they will honor it or give me a military discount (I ask everywhere I go and it is amazing and nice how many people will have one or come up with something!!)

My biggest confusion is the different amounts of luggage each limo service says it can accomodate!! I don't want to be in the airport and find out we have too much luggage and have to pay for a trailer at the last minute!!! I have heard Happy Limo often sends an upgraded limo and I was kind of hoping that would happen for us....

OK - I know lots of you are in Canada and I was raised in Washington state and have been stationed in New England so I realize you will have no sympathy BUT IT IS INCREDIBLY HOT here today!! Seriously - when I took my daughter to school this morning it was 75 already and it has been raining so humidity has to be close to 100%. I thought fall was finally coming and actually had to turn the heat on last weekend. But now I am sitting in a tank top, holding a sweaty baby and getting really sweaty myself and I think I am going to have to turn the AC on soon:rotfl: I have my windows all open, but just checked the temp in the house and it is pushing 80 in here!!!

For you veteran cruisers I have a question. How closely do they examine your passports??? I ask this because I have lost a bunch of weight(75 lbs) and my passport picture is from when I was heavy. I called the passport office and they said if I wanted a new picture I had to get a whole new passport and fork out the $$$ all over again. Wondering if it is really necessary. What do you think? Oh just wanted to add that I have had no issues crossing the border into Buffalo.

So how early can you check in? I think I asked but I dont think I got an answer......maybe I ask too many questions and you guys are getting sick of me already....:rotfl:

I travel overseas all of the time. No one ever really looks to hard at the passport photo - even customs agents comming into the US (that is where the get scrutinized. If you are suspicious, you will probably be identified prior to even making it to the agent! ). All I have ever seen them do at cruiselines is verify that you have a passport and log the number into the system!! I definately wouldn't worry about getting a new pic. My kids have passports. My daughters picture was taken when she was 5 weeks old and she is now 4 so the photo doesn't look much like her!! If it works for kids (and women who die their hair, etc) you'll be fine!!!

Congrats on loosing the weight!!

I have seen on the disboards that they let you on the ship at 12 but staterooms aren't ready until 1:30 (or later). However, my cruise paperwork says you can't get on the ship until 1. I think you can "check-in" when you arrive at the port and then you just wait until they let you on the ship!!

As I am reading thru here and see the screen names I always wonder what the name means....some are obvious (I think). Mine is obvious!!!! lol

Oh really? How long did it take? How much did it cost...if you dont mind me asking.
